There's so many options now that Preston's gone, it's going to be interesting to see the outcome.

Mick what is your opinion of Gower's past misdeeds?

IMO *alleged* misconduct is a far worse offence than smoking a bit of pot.

nothing was proven with Gower, thats the difference.

No charges were laid so how do we know for sure there was substance.

If there was, I would have no hesitation showing him the door.

gower was known to be stumbling around drunk he has been escorted from panthers league club entoxicated ive seen his own team mates helping lead him out of the club ive seen billy absolutely wasted he can bairly stand on numerous occasions.

I feel thats just as bad so tell me why are they playing first grade its the same crap different substance in my opion.

But i still feel they should all still have the chance to play 1st grade.

My team for round 1 next year.

1.Rhys Wesser
2.Michael Gordon
3.Bob Blair
4.Luke Lewis
5.Nick Youngquest
6.Craig Gower
7.Peter Wallace or Dean Caldwell
8.Joel Clinton
9.Luke Priddis
10.Matthew Cross
11.Tony Puletua
12.Trent Waterhouse
13.Frank Pritchard

14.Bryan Norrie
15.Mark Meredith
16.Shane Rodney
17.Paul Aiton

I've chosen Bob Blair at right centre because I'd like Jennings to find his feet in PL in the early part of the year. Youngquest in for Rooney as he teamed very well with Luke Lewis in the earlier rounds this year. I think Rooney only kept his place in the side on reputation. Gowie into 5/8 so he can have a little bit more room with the ball in his hands.I don't really care if Peter Wallace or Dean Caldwell plays half as they both had similar injuries last year at similar times.Mark Meredith on the bench as we need to carry a 2nd prop and he at least has some 1st grade experience.

Two players in our Harold Matthews squad I think are from Bathurst.

James Toole & Harry Siejka

Harry played in the U14 this year for Bathurst Panthers, while his brother

Stirling Siejka played Harold Matthews for Penrith.
