Which " three teams " would you nominate, most likely to finish " bottom three in the NRL 2007 " ???

My opinion :

3rd Last :
Tigers -
Hope they prove me wrong (as they did in 2005) .
The Key for the Tigers in 07 is a fit Benji Marshall .
Injury may see the Tigers fall from grace , confidence will be a major factor for the Tigers . I see the lack of depth as a major issue next season.

2nd Last :
- Panthers
This team has so many quality players but continually seem to struggle. No coach or management will turn the Panthers season around. Panthers are gone.

Last position :
- Sharks
This club has the Australian coach and ex Australian half (Stuart / Kimmorley ), both have a point to prove and therefore that will be the clubs undoing in 2007. The Sharks need to be
" less " predictable in attack , they have quite a good team on paper but they seem to lack variety in options . (Sorry Shark fans).

3rd last-Titans (it is hard for a group of blokes to be picked and chosen from all over the place to be competitive in the toughest comp of them all)

2nd last-Panthers (going backwards)

last-Souths (yes they did recruit well, but they finished a long way back, will still run last imo, but not by as much)

I think the sharks will do ok next year. Not great but ok. Stuart has the cajones to axe those that arent putting in which was something lacking this year.

3rd last - Souths. Some awesome recruitment. Suttons best position is lock, which leaves a big whole in the halves (funny coming from a shark fan, I know). Also with this many new faces in one team, it will take a fair while to gel which means the race may be run before Souths get a rhythm. But a marked improvement.

2nd last - Penrith- I like the Pennies but no Campbell, a backline that gets more diluted every year with some very ordinary players a forward pack that needs an overhaul.

Last - Canberra - New coach untried at the top level, the loss of Jason Smith, Halves are talented but unproven at top level for a whole season. Loss of 4000 first grade games of experience. Strike weapon is craig frawley. Some Great Forwards and the halves have a very bright future but they look the most fragile.

my bottom 3 would have to be: Sharks,Panthers and Raiders, my guess would have to be the raiders for the spoon, although im not confident in saying that, i remember saying that they would get the spoon last year, and they ended up making the 8, so we will have to wait and see what happends.

It's already been said, but even with Asotasi running amok, I can't see Souths finishing any higher than third last.

Titans will struggle as well. I don't want to tip them to finish in the bottom three, because I hope they do better than that, but I really don't think they have the forwards (in particular the depth of fowards) to make an impact next year.

Last position will be graced by the Sharks unless something drastic happens over summer. Too much off-field bullsh*t, and not enough on-field brilliance.

3rd Last - Panthers. Too many over-rated nuffies in the backline sucking up too many dollars.

2nd Last - Souths. Still a poor team hoping for miracles by individual players, but have a good coach. I previously thuoght they would have come last, but a "last place side" that would win quite f ew game. As I said, my choice for last until....

Last - Roosters. Any team that has a NEW head coach saying he wants to play a Rugby Union style.... you know they will come last.

13. Warriors: Lost alot of their good players over the last few years. cant see them improving in 07

14. Souths: they always have no hope. jason taylor wont turn this team of oldies and rejects around into competitors

15. Canterbury: when you have players like hazem el masri, brent sherwin and willie mason, you are guaranteed to lose

13th Raiders
14th Souths
15th Titans

Titans will struggle imo, yes they have brought some good players, but the NRL is so competitive....it seems to take to mend a good side into a great one eg Melbourne

Actually if the Bulldogs suffer some injuries it will test there depth, they were very lucky this year in regards to injuries apart from the last 5 games

Raiders? They'll make the Top 4 next year - you can bookmark it. They've got a hell of alot of exciting young talent coming through and remind me alot of where we were this time last year (with players leaving the club and people writing us off).

Souths, Roosters and Sharks will be the bottom 3 unfortunatly - i'm not really fussed about an order.
