Lakers score a lucky win, that steal from Kobe was big time. If the Lakers can't find someone to guard Pierce effectively, they're going to get eaten alive in Boston, which will probably happen anyways.

i'll be happy for allen to get a ring but a side of me would of loved to of seen KG never get one. Pierce is a dick.

Game 6 tomorrow.

Man this is panning out as an epic series. Kobe wont give up I tell you.

He did....and thankgod this series has happened and we dont have to have crazy comparissons between he and Jordan cause quite frankly...there is no comparisson.
Jordan > all

There were a few players that really supprised me this finals series.

I thought Rondo played well and obvious Pierce had a huge games, but to be honest i never realised how ordinary Pau was in defence. He was predestrian against KG. Damn shame to be honest. Lakers just got hammered because they couldn't D up. I would argue that KG is hands down better than Duncan after that series IMO.

Duncan is abit older isnt he? More past his best.

And lets not forget that he's racked up 4 Championships in his time, of which 3 he was well and truly the focal point of the team.

No way. TD still owns him and always will. His record speaks for itself.
I dont think thats entirely fair.

Had Duncan been a T-Wolf and garnett a Spur it's not crazy to suggest that it would be KG with 4 Championships and Duncan who spent 10 odd years without one.

Doesn't matter how great a forward is, he needs support to win a Championship. Just ask LeBron.

If you look at the team that KG played with, its increadible that the Twolves actually made the Play-offs IMO. Now im not saying he is better than LeBron, but in comparison LeBrons team is that of what KG played with at the Wolves.

If KG had played at a half deacent team i daresay he would have more than one ring IMO.

KG debuted in 1995/6
TD debuted in 1997/8

They are both the same age. Difference is that TD went to college.
TD has alot more runs on the board and history will point to TD being better

Nobody has more runs on the board than Bill Russell.

Doesn't make him the greatest ever.

You would be suprised. When the greatest teams of all time are talked about Bill Russell is always front and center in the C position. So Bill is still regarded very highly.
Not best of all time perhaps (Jordan owns that mantle and always will) but still a top 5er

Malone's probably best PF of all time.

Haha, just trying to stir you guys up.

Remember KG didnt have that have terrible teammates in Minnesota; Cassell, Szcerbiak, Spreewell, Marbury amongst others

KG always had good young talent around him. It's the coaching that failed him. That talent never improved...
