A few differences now. Storm do not have Smith or Hoffman, Manly now have Lyon back who is playing damn well and taking pressure of Orford. Having him in the side makes a massive difference.
You make some valid points there but on the other side that game was played at Brookevale, a place Storm hadn't won in 10 years. Plus Manly have to get over the psychological hurdle of only having been beaten by Melbourne 4 out of their last 5 meetings including the GF last year.
Manly might take more confidence into the game having Smith and Hoffman out but then they might run the risk of getting a bit complacent by that not to mention the anticipated press articles all week writing the Storm off. It's easy to say Manly won't fall for that as they're professionals etc but it happen to the best sides and i think even Melbourne have been guilty of it in the past.
I think it's going to be one hell of a game and i think it'll go either way by less than a converted try. But for those that say Manly will smash Melbourne i think is a bit silly. Melbourne might appear to be down and out but i get the feeling they thrive on the us versus them mentality and if the media keep up with the sort of articles they've been writing as i expect they will thay will only advantage the Storm and give them more fuel and hunger to go back to back.
Anyway, best of luck to both teams and their supporters and may the best team win. The best two teams are there.
