Remember you could not even admit the Menzies try from the Dragons game was actually a try . Anyways only another week of this left.
Yeah, it was such a prolonged argument and I denied it for hours and hours on end

I've had far more memorable arguments where I may have been wrong to even care about such a dubious topic. I actually stand by my opinion, even if the rule is that heading the ball forward is permitted, I believe that should consitute a knock on. It shows a lack of control of the ball.
Did He ?
 @ you, you diehard.

So does a miss-kick, or a pass that lands behind the intended receiver...

A mis-kick usually results in a loss of possession or field position (no advantage to the person committing the error).

A pass landing behind the intended receiver generally means a loss of field position as well as forward momentum. And if it's close to the line, it can go into touch, and it's lost possession. Again, no advantage to the person/s committing the error.

Do you see my point? Menzies heading the ball forward did nothing but give him an advantage. That's why I don't think it was a fair try - regardless of what the rule is.

Ive seen clean breaks made from passes that have gone to ground, tries resulting from mis-kicks.

Your argument is stupid.

They may be made, advantage can be taken after the loss of possession or field position in any number of ways.

Perhaps I should further my point. This loss of possession occured in a forward motion. Why is the head any different to the hands?

:sleeper: He's within travelling distance, don't see why he doesn't

So that does not make him any less of a fan. I live in Nth Sydney and attended a grand total of 4 games. Going to games does not mean you are a better fan than someone who does not.

IMO it does in some respects (not all). If you have the financial or physical ability to do so and like to call yourself a fan, why not contribute in some way to your club? Be that by being a financial member of the club, or getting yourself in the grandstand whenever you can... sitting at home and posting about them on the net doesn't necessarily make you a diehard. That's just my take, I'm sure other people have their own.

have you ever thought that some people may not be as well off as others

Clearly you're not as well off in reading and comprehension.

I'll quote it for your benefit.

If you still don't get it - the implication is that if you aren't that well off, then fair enough.

But it would seem you can afford plenty of internet access... :-k :sarcasm:
