Before this blows up royally, i would suggest that Helen's post was directed at the IDEA of giving him the mispelled trophy, not at you.

I have been working with the club on this, and I have confirmation that the presentation to Fui of the Trophy is to happen at the Fan Day this year.

I hope this suits everyone.

Additionally to this - im pretty sure Fan Day will be 28th February, 2010

Why Jess? You deserve to be acknowledged. If EVERYONE wants to remain anonymous I don't see the point of the whole exercise. I think you should get as many forum members together at the Presentation just to let Fui know that his win wasn't just voted on by one or two people....

i am much more of a 'behind the scenes' girl.
My reward will be seeing the trophy handed over, by someone else. I hope MITS realises how mortified i would be if names were named on stage in front of so many Eels fans..

We are appreciative of Jess's hard work, and thank her for her great deeds, but at this time, if Jess wishes to remain anonymous, that's the way it should be.

Look I get your point but in reality, you didn't need to put my name on the message if you are going to put forth a general opinion. Having my Name at the start of it, looks as though you are addressing it to me.

Of course I was never going to send the "Mistake" trophy to Fui's son, any suggestion of such is in my opinion folly and would as you said be a poor reflection on us as a whole.

No need to get all wound up about it, I am not, simply asking a playful question.

I asked who wanted it, and Pete said he did, now Pete made a suggestion, but still put in his reply where I can send the "Mistake" trophy to, and that is his address, well close enough to it, and that is where the trophy will end up.

Don't worry Pete I am sure the Mistake trophy will get there in a week or two when I have time to send it.

Mark, it doesn't worry me one way or another if you send it - or don't send it. No hassles mate, if you are going to send it, do it at your leisure.
I might even put it up for auction at the Magpies Pie in the Sky which will feature Jason Croker (confirmed) and another former international still to be confirmed. (July 3)
