Why on earth would you do that? :?
FMD mate, just stick it on the shelf in the Cumberland Lounge at your place and be done with it ffs.

Suity

Thanks for the advice... You should have purchased it and you could have done with it what you liked..
I make my decisions. If I want to give it to my local Club as a fundraiser I will..

Mark, it doesn't worry me one way or another if you send it - or don't send it. No hassles mate, if you are going to send it, do it at your leisure.
I might even put it up for auction at the Magpies Pie in the Sky which will feature Jason Croker (confirmed) and another former international still to be confirmed. (July 3)

Hope you raise a heap of coin on the night, Pete. If the dodgy trophy can jag your club an extra 10 bucks then great. That's one under 8's parent who wont have to buy their son/daughter socks to play in this season.
I am trying to clear my schedule in order to attend the "pie in the sky" match with a Canberra fan friend of mine. I may be in, of all places, China for a trade show though.

I hope you can make it. We have Toots Croker for sure, and still working on the other, timing is a little bit off as it is the Saturday before third SOO. We will have another big name anyway.
You will not believe the size of the crowd the match (for a place with a population of 3000) will attract and the passion of supporters out here..and the great facilities that have been provided by local Council,Let me know if you are coming won't you....I'll make sure you and your get to meet everyone and have a great time...and you will Saturday July 3....

Actually the Junior Magpies Club was able to get a $11,000 Sports Voucher in a NRMA/Rebel Sports competition Everyday Legends. It is a HUGE help to the Club...bloody huge..Not only did our application but we had the most supporters thanks to people on here like Hellsy, Captain BF, Belly, Bartman and Suity. That sort spirit endears me to this forum. They may put sh*t on me, but if I ask them for help, I know I can rely on them.

Couldn't believe our luck. There will be a story in Open Road in coming months. NRMA will send Dawn Fraser/Geoff Toovey to town, and I've organised with NRMA whichever to be guest speaker at the 40th Sportsperson of the Year Award..(March 6).

What happened to this thread?

I have a question for you... It's not really trivia, well sort of....

A mates girlfriend claims that her dad played for Parra late 70's-early 80's era. The surname is Angus. I have looked through my encyclopedia of Parra players dated 2003 and also the list on Parraeels.com.au and he isn't there. I'm uessing reserve grade at the highest? Would players who came off the bench for 1st from lower grades be included as 1st graders and be on the list?

good question, I think Marty Fagan came off the bench in the 70's and never got a player number...
