^ Yet turned a profit this season.

How did the all powerful turds up Hoddle street fare this season?

As for Cousins, when he tears your midfield up in August ... You'll be wishing Collingwood had made the decision to draft him.

ignoring the obvious balls up which was the hotels, the club made over $2mil operating profit...not too bad

I'm more than happy with our clubs decision on Cousins. I'm prepared to back in their months of homework on him over Richmonds days of homework.

The only thing Cousins will be tearing next season is that dodgy hamstring of his.

Actually. The club lost 6 million dollars. This is nothing like the Lions loss where you can argue the club didn't actually lose money. Collingwood pissed 8 million dollars up against a wall.

Yes, Richmond have taken a risk on Ben. The upside is that Ben will return to the field in the form he previously showed, leaving our midfield far exceeding Collingwood's in terms of quality. I mean let's face a reality check here, our midfield already exceeded yours, adding Ben only widens the gap.

What is the downside if Ben fails? We wasted the 6th pick in the PSD? Gee, Yeah, I'll cry for years over that one.

It's always amusing when people parrot what the media say. Ben had 2 hamstring injuries in that final season. Hardly what you would label 'dodgy'

But then again, after having watching the club continue to field Nathan Buckley for 3 years when obviously injured due to lack of quality midfielders, you'd know all about players with dodgy hamstrings, yes?

Good to see Cousins given another chance, here's hoping he focuses on his footy for Richmond with so many young kids at the Tigers who will now probably idolize him!
