true. or we could look at the Souths model when they had to pay huge $ to attract anyone (and Joe G won the lottery). guess its the half glass full/empty line of thinking.

Dogs had the advantage of a wide spread clean out of the club, starting from the top.

well souths have built themselve quite a tidy squad, up until the last couple of years, souths have never had the structure and resources that we've always had..this is where people like Zap and Brian Smith come in handy....I'm hopeful that DA can fill half that void I'm not so confident about the other.

on a side note, Tim Smith returned to 1st team action last night and played good. Still has a very good passing and kicking game. However his defense is shocking and is constantly targeted.

Regardless of the opposition, his attack is always good. He provides good service and it depends on how good the players around him play. No doubt his defense is shocking, but his attack is quality.

Wigan shifted leulai to hooker and smith to halfback and im sure it wont be the last time you see it happen.

Smith has his fair share of problems, but he was our best halfback for the last 5 years no doubt.

Tim will never return to parra though, not because he doesn't want to, Anderson would never consider him and im sure of that.

Ben Creagh is absolutely #1 on that list. Imagine him and Hindy in the second row? Also, Hindy won't be around forever.

Also Dave Taylor, Justin Poore, Jeff Lima and possibly Aaron Gorrell. Then we contact Campese's manager about 2011....

He'd be on a third of what some of our blokes are on and does a better job. He and Matt White aren't big names but they add forward depth. Enticing these sort of players will be easier than people expecting Dave Taylor, Justin Poore and Ben Creagh in a package deal.
