Don't think Prince can fill in at 9? Give me a break. Even Bennett commented last year they were crazy not putting Prince on the bench because he was the ultimate team player.

I'd rather Prince on the bench than someone like Aaron Payne who is really a converted halfback anyway. Most No. 9s these days are halfbacks who are too slow, but can tackle.

There is a deadly combination forming between the two that shouldn't be ignored.

Put him in the halves and Lockyer or Thurtson in the centres or on a wing?

No, You don't put a half back on the bench, waste of an interchange.

You could put Slater or Hunt on a wing, in the centres and at a pinch in the halves or at lock.

LOL No, you can put Slater in at wing or hooker - That's it.
So...if they were willing to put a specialist fullback on the bench I have no problem with Prince there.

You're forgetting one important thing League Legend - Darren Lockyer can play fullback. In fact, he's very good at it. He started his career there and won a golden boot in that position. I think he'd do an ok job in an emergency.

So if there's a backline injury, Prince comes into the halves, Locky moves to fullback and Hunt covers the injury.

Stagg..um just no thanks. He can tackle..well woopie doo, I want someone with a bit of creativity thanks. We need a utility on the bench, I would favour Scott Prince to be on the bench somewhere. Thurston showed today why he'll be the no7.

Have you even seen any Bulldog games this year, Stagg is doing alot more then just tackling.

He has made 65 hitups for 424 which works out to 6.5m which isnt too bad.
Has 11 offloads, 12 tackle breaks, 2 try assists and a try to go with his 242 tackles (48 per game), he is in career best form and is doing alot better then other back rowers being mentioned.

Sailor lives for Origin football and i think he would more than just hold his own out there, he is one of the best sledgers in the game and would really get under his opposing wingers skin, of that there is no doubt. He may have lost some pace but he more than makes up for it with his overbaring presence on the field.
