^LOL.
Thurston doesn't deserve call up atm, either does Lockyer who has been average.
But being Lockyer he'll get the 6, Prince should be halves partner at the moment.

Isn't Kemp a Kiwi?

Stuff this theory that you can't play a fullback on the wing ...

Hunt to fullback, Slater to the wing.

Slater can catch bomb, tackle and run fast ... all you need to do as a winger.

Hunt's a better fullback IMO and has played wing himself ... so they can play swapsie through a game.

There are five guys in that backline who could play fullback at Origin level. It's crazy how well off we are with number 1's.

100% agree Daz

Origin is about having the best players on the field, no matter what their club position is.

Lockyer's past it. They need Princey. Ash Harrison and David Stagg are, between them, versatile enough to cover any position on the field should anyone else get injured. Darius Boyd only got his slot last year because Steve Michaels was injured. I'd have liked to fit another big bopper in (Kaufusi, probably) but with the two refs this year, Origin is going to be a massive task. Having players like Stagg, Parker, and Price who can go the full 80 if asked while the battering rams of Hannant and Civoniceva get a spell will be essential.

*- If Hunt leaves for Union then get rid of him.

Those who are saying just chuck Slater on the wing must have short memories. He got shown up in defence big time whenever he was forced out there in the past. There's more to wing play then just catching bombs and making tackles.

I'd be a bit doubtful as to whether Parker could have much of an impact, but I prefer him to Stagg and Harrison. As good as Staggy's defence is, his 8 hit ups for 37m doesn't cut it in Origin; especially when we've already got Johnson who offers pretty much the same defensive cover, but with slightly more penetration in his runs.
