I hope Raiders management were smart and had people out there selling memberships for next year. I think both they and the Warriors are just on the start of their rise.

what is with RL fans? I'd frickin walk 10 miles for the opportunity to see two great teams in a sudden death playoff game! They should all be made to live in WA, SA or NT for a couple of years, might make them realise how lucky they are to be able to see a great game of NRL live.

i agree, until 8 weeks ago the only profesional sport within an hour and a half drive of my house was Ulster rugby and ice hockey neither at a great level, so now living in Australia i really appreciate the opportunities to get to top quality RL games! and i can't understand why many sydneysiders almost need to be told by the media to go to games.

I'm less pessimistic about the crowd, should crack 20K but there is no excuse why it shouldn't be approaching 30K- 2 Sydney teams in the finals and knock out football to name a few reasons why the fans should be there in droves. I think the attitude is slowly changing as the increase in members and attendances in the past 2 years, hopefully remove some of the excuses to not attend.

We had the Eels/Bulldogs prelim last year in an all Sydney affair and now we have another blockbuster, last years game was an amazing experience with 75k fans there and half the stadium being blue/white and the other blue/gold, if the dragons/tigers are serious, then we should see at least 65-70k there.

I think the only thing stopping that will be torrential rain all week.

I was there last year and WOW what an experience. Here's to hoping the nrl do the same thing and separate the crowd in half with black/gold and red/white

Your 100% right.

That was one of the most intense games I've been to.

Looks like on ticketek that the Dragons will occupy the half of the field that the Dogs had, whilst the Tigers will be on the Parramatta side.

Be interesting to see if they can go close to matching the Eels v Dogs from last year.

The game will be promoted massively and everyday this week we will be getting an update of tickets sold.

I hope ALL Sydney RUGBY LEAGUE fans attend next weeks game. ANZ will be electric and extremely tribal, it would be worth a ticket just for the atmosphere.

Suncorp should sell out, will be a bumper weekend can't wait!

Will help if the NSW government activates its "Major Events" bus/rail transport network for the Wests v Dragons game. The only RL games that get this are Origin and the Grand Final.

If they were to make this available and announce it today many more RL fans will give a thought to going.

Last year the state govt didn't react until 60K had been sold (on the Wed) - if they had announced it on the Sunday or Monday I'm sure the crowd would have been even bigger. Sure people could have decided on the Wed to buy tickets, but by then many would have made other plans for the Friday night.

Well they activated it for the Swans semi and that game only attracted 40k.

The NRL should lobby the NSW govt hard to put this in place asap.

Crowd is slowly building. The bad news is that they haven't opened the Eastern top deck. However there are supporters in the north and south end.
