Judging by the ticketek website, crowd tonight for Eels vs Tigers isn't going to be massive.. not expecting much more than 23k.

Hopefully the sensational weather in Sydney tonight will trigger a big walk up crowd. However, you are right ticket sales suggests 20-23K.

Actually, maybe a bit more 24-25k.. depends on the walk-up crowd. So 26k may not be out of the question

Yesterday the Ticketek website had Silver Reserve as Allocation Exhausted but i checked back this morning and it was Available.

Not sure what is up with that.

The NRL simply does not do enough in terms of promotion.. they 'sit on their hands' and expect fans to come flowing into games. We'll see what the crowd is in a few minutes

mediocrity is completely unacceptable. Despite this.. many here will laud the crowd as 'great'..

Was really a great night to watch some Footy. I honestly thought they could get 27-30k.

Season Ticket holder and couldn't make it due to work commitments. Don't know if it is common elsewhere but my industry is flat out this time of year.

Last years crowd also has to be weighed allowing for the ever growing Parra bandwagon.

Not brilliant, not terrible and a damn sight bigger crowd than alot of other Sydney teams draw to any of their home games

21k is decent, not outstanding but decent. Have to remember its round 3, not round 24 with two teams gunning for the finals. That we are dissapointed with 21k is good to see as well, however, getting a bit more serious about improving crowds

So how abt the fact that parra is 30km away and half of the tigers fanbase is 60km away? Stupid venue for the game ESP on a fri night when it's a bitch to get into the city. Dumb scheduling

Spot on.

Anyone with half a brain would realise that ANZ Stadium was the perfect venue for this game, but that's not how the NRL works.

Meanwhile, in Rnd 1 we had Souths v Roosters at ANZ Stadium.
