Don't worry, it's the number one game in it's traditional strongholds in Australia. Nothing to worry about. Now if you were a union fan living in NSW, you'd be worried.

Come to think of it Teddy, you are a union fan! We still can't forget your first few posts on this site.
Yes i worry about Union in Australia and New Zealand and the P.I.'s.

Raiders/Tigers should get around 12k, I would be surprised to see it slump below 10k. Sharks/Eels on the other hand is probably going to be 9-10k, can't see it getting much more than tonight.

Well I know of a heap of people driving down to Canberra cause it's on Easter Sunday who struggle to front for our home games, so a few people like that and the Raiders could have possibly 15 000.

2005 the first three rounds were all 10k+

2009 the first two rounds and 7 games were 10k+, MNF round 3 broke the duck.

That's it.

Strong start to the season despite protestations from people everywhere.
I reckon increased membership is going to do more to increase the poor crowds than to make the big crowds bigger

2008: 21,839 (Good Fri as well)
2007: 34,315 (was Good Friday though)
2006: 19,529

What makes you think this year would be so much higher than most?
Monday is a public holiday, but the next day isn't.
