Pretty clear that the Dragons v Tigers game was the Grand Final.

Yeah, I'd say it was pretty much guaranteed that a team that only managed to win 1 of its last 4 games would have won the grand final :sarcasm:

A team that loses twice to the Sharks (the Sharks!!) and gets 60 (yes, 60!) put past them by the Dogs shouldn't make the Semis, let alone the big one.
The Tigers would've thumped the Roosters by 18 or 20 in the GF.
and the Tigers had 50 put on them by the Rabbitohs.. so what? we made the semis because we won enough games and so we deserved to be there..

Roosters had the easy side of the draw - Panthers, Titans
Tigers had the hard side of the draw - Raiders, Dragons

It was easier to play 3rd, 2nd, 4th and 1st than it was to play 6th, 7th and 1st? Your team choked harder than we did. Top 4 finish couldn't put away 6th and struggled against 7th.

Enjoy telling yourself you could have won on the big day in 2010.

Yeah just like the other 3 times this year. The tigers lost 2 finals matches and did not deserve to be in the grand final, it's as simple as that.
It was actually four wins this year, and feel sure it would have been five, had the tigers been good enough to reach the grand final.

Raiders > Panthers
Dragons > Titans

I'm not saying we would have won the grand final, I'm stating facts. Are you going to deny the Raiders and Dragons are not better than the Panthers and Titans?

And for the bolded comment, just remember that scrum that saved you from elimination. Yes we couldn't put away the Roosters, but you cannot say that the Roosters weren't lucky.

Struggled against Canberra at Canberra, them having won 6 in a row, us coming from a 100 minute effort the week before, multiple injuries and we still won?

Funny, I thought the criteria for mking the GF was winning semi finals. The Tigers only won ONE of their last 4 games because poor old Croker missed a sitter.

Having close losses doesn't mean you should advance. The Raiders won one and narrowly lost another.

Pretty clear that the Dragons v Tigers game was the Grand Final.

And as many said, whoever won that match would go on to become premiers.

If the Tigers had've won, the Tigers would've beaten the Roosters given the display they turned on in the GF.

Furthermore, the Roosters and Dragons are now equal imo in regards to being chokers.

Can't believe Boyd got the CC Medal.[/QUOTE]

Not many can - including Boyd!

Well the Tigers did lose by a dodgy scrum and then only by a point to the Dragons.

They were closer than you're willing to admit.

I love how everyone just glosses over the clear high tackle which led to that scrum.

The tigers would have been smashed by us. They are simply our bitches.

Best 2 teams were in the grand final. Dragons were the minor premiers and smashed 8th, then beat 3rd.

Roosters finished 6th, beat 3rd, 2nd and 4th to get to the grand final, then lead the minor premiers into halftime before getting rolled.

Tigers, on the other hand, got beat by 6th (us), managed to scrape past 7th off the back of one of the most accurate kickers in the comp missing from in front, then got run down by the dragons.

But hey, if the tiges fans need to tell them selves something comforting then fine

Tigers fans are pathetic, just like they're captain big nose Robbie. Bitter and twisted. Funny how some are suggesting they had the "tough side of the draw"...had they not choked to the 6th placed Rooster they would have actually had the "easy side of the draw" instead. :sarcasm::lol:

Love this, didn't take much to wind you mob up lol.

The GF was possibly the worst finals match of the series, the three best games happened to be the ones the tigers played in.

That can't be argued.

Hey at least the roosters made the GF unlike the LOSER Tigers, cry me a river the refs were against us, they were lucky to beat the Raiders. I don't like the roosters but to say they didn't deserve to be there is a joke, they beat you guys fair and square, Benji and Farah CHOKED!!! they had opportunities and didn't take them. Thats what marks great teams from mediocre ones.

So? Same result, neither the Tigers or the Roosters won the premiership.

It was a disappointing Grand Final given the build up and all the hype. Roosters first team since 1934 to come from wooden spooners to premiers, these clashes are usually fairly close.

I thought it was a good first half, ok there were some dodgy calls from the refs but both sides came out strong. Unfortunately the Roosters hit the panic button in the second like most Brian Smith coached sides in Grand Finals.

I thought it was gonna be a close game but with a performance like that it was an ordinary game.

Well done to the Dragons. First ever premiership as a joint venture.

Was a joke Boyd got Clive Churchill medal, obviously got the award before the game kicked off. Why cant a forward get this award? Surely Jeremy Smith shouldve been Man of the match.
IMO Smith, Costigan or Young were the obvious CC medal winners. Close 2nd's would have been Hornby and Nightingale. I was amazed Boyd got it, over the course of a season he deserved it but he probably wasn't even in the top 5 players out there that night.
