Pretty clear that the Dragons v Tigers game was the Grand Final.
Yeah, I'd say it was pretty much guaranteed that a team that only managed to win 1 of its last 4 games would have won the grand final :sarcasm:

:lol:A team that loses twice to the Sharks (the Sharks!!) and gets 60 (yes, 60!) put past them by the Dogs shouldn't make the Semis, let alone the big one.
The Tigers would've thumped the Roosters by 18 or 20 in the GF.
Roosters had the easy side of the draw - Panthers, Titans
Tigers had the hard side of the draw - Raiders, Dragons
It was actually four wins this year, and feel sure it would have been five, had the tigers been good enough to reach the grand final.Yeah just like the other 3 times this year. The tigers lost 2 finals matches and did not deserve to be in the grand final, it's as simple as that.

It was easier to play 3rd, 2nd, 4th and 1st than it was to play 6th, 7th and 1st? Your team choked harder than we did. Top 4 finish couldn't put away 6th and struggled against 7th.
Enjoy telling yourself you could have won on the big day in 2010.
Funny, I thought the criteria for mking the GF was winning semi finals. The Tigers only won ONE of their last 4 games because poor old Croker missed a sitter.A team that loses twice to the Sharks (the Sharks!!) and gets 60 (yes, 60!) put past them by the Dogs shouldn't make the Semis, let alone the big one.

And as many said, whoever won that match would go on to become premiers.
If the Tigers had've won, the Tigers would've beaten the Roosters given the display they turned on in the GF.
Furthermore, the Roosters and Dragons are now equal imo in regards to being chokers.
Can't believe Boyd got the CC Medal.[/QUOTE]
Not many can - including Boyd!
Well the Tigers did lose by a dodgy scrum and then only by a point to the Dragons.
They were closer than you're willing to admit.
lol @ taking pride in being pretty losers
Hey at least the roosters made the GF unlike the LOSER Tigers, cry me a river the refs were against us, they were lucky to beat the Raiders. I don't like the roosters but to say they didn't deserve to be there is a joke, they beat you guys fair and square, Benji and Farah CHOKED!!! they had opportunities and didn't take them. Thats what marks great teams from mediocre ones.
IMO Smith, Costigan or Young were the obvious CC medal winners. Close 2nd's would have been Hornby and Nightingale. I was amazed Boyd got it, over the course of a season he deserved it but he probably wasn't even in the top 5 players out there that night. It was a disappointing Grand Final given the build up and all the hype. Roosters first team since 1934 to come from wooden spooners to premiers, these clashes are usually fairly close.
I thought it was a good first half, ok there were some dodgy calls from the refs but both sides came out strong. Unfortunately the Roosters hit the panic button in the second like most Brian Smith coached sides in Grand Finals.
I thought it was gonna be a close game but with a performance like that it was an ordinary game.
Well done to the Dragons. First ever premiership as a joint venture.
Was a joke Boyd got Clive Churchill medal, obviously got the award before the game kicked off. Why cant a forward get this award? Surely Jeremy Smith shouldve been Man of the match.
