tbh my gut feeling is fui may only have 1 more yr at parra

I dont think Fui will renew his current deal either. England will offer alot of money, and the man has every right to take it.

We should go after Jeff Lima as a replacement.

My gut feeling is telling me the opposite, depending on injuries. Just with the way he's playing and the way the club treated him towards the end of the year. I think if we come with a good offer, he'll stay for another couple of years.

How do you know this? unless you no something we dont?
im pretty sure 2010 is his last year contracted to the tigers.

I thought he extended his deal for a few years not that I pay a great deal of attention of what other clubs do..not that it really matters because I can't see him leaving the tigers for another NRL club.

i agree with colonel, wingers should be cheaper and for up and coming centres, fullbacks.

they should not take a large chunck or our cap.

atm, etu, wright, humble comes to mind although wright had a shocker last time he was there.

but if we have the cap space then why not

I understand that we have plenty of wingers, only a handful have proven themselves in first grade though. The last game Jono (Wright) played was against the Titans and as I remember he had quite a good game, even scoring a try.

True but he was playing in his preferred position at centre.

Tuiaki and Grothe are different sorts of wingers - as much as they can score tries they can also create them by a great run out of their own end. Normally though a winger is only as good as the guys feeding him the ball from inside.

Our main focus should be in keeping decent centres, half and 5/8 to create the opportunities for finishers. Props would also help.

I wonder whether Parra could buy one of those trees at Swanes?

Suity

At present we have Reddy, Burt, Grothe and Inu all capable of playing on the wing. Could even add Tahu to that.

In the lower grades under contract we have Uaisele, Tim Mortimer and Jonathan Wright under contract at the moment. Grayson Goodwin, brother of Bronx and Bryson is supposed to be with the club next year as well.

Below that we have Ken Sio doing well in Bundy Cup, NYC and NSW Cup. Another couple of winger/centres doing well in NYC up from SG Ball were Ryan Morgan and Rory Brien.

Beyond that we have another couple of threequarters making the NYC step up in Josh Tuitupou and Chris Ulugia.

Given we are likely to be active in the lower grade market we could unearth someone

We don't need one from Swanes..... we just need to work amongst what we have and find a decent fit. You don't need to purchase big name wingers - Steve Turner and Dane Nielsen are proof of that.

I'm lead to believe that there's still alot of interest out there from players looking at coming over to Wenty who are currently piutting a squad together to compete in both the 2nd and 3rd tier comps while Parra are currently finalising their part time squad to represent wenty also.

depth will not be a problem.

I'm sure you could slip in Humble as a winger too.

He was a fullback so he probably could take to the wing based on his speed.

I'd be surprised if Humble see first grade next season to be honest. We're ok for depth and it can be a big step up.

I'm sure hell play at some stage, Neil Henry basically promised him first crack of the fullback spot at the Cowboys after Bowan got injured and when they missed out on him they then went for their second choice, Shannon Gallant who played plenty of first grade this year for the Tigers.

he'll definitely play but the question will be whether or not he'll land a regular spot or not.
