Does anybody know if the Bulls are yet to confirm a home ground for the 2011 season? The NSWRL website has this Saturdays game against Mounties listed as being at Henson Park whilst other sources state Sefton Park.
I understand its probably too late to make amendments to the draw though perhaps the Bulls could play their matches as curtain raisers to the Newtown Jets games where possible at Henson?

Round 2

Entrance V Cabra - Entrance by 12
Windsor V Bulldogs - Windsor by 10
Wenty V Bulls - Wenty by 36
Mounties V Kingsgrove - Mounties by 26

Windsor coach David Tangata Toa has added himself to the playing list after the flogging last week. This means that both of Windsor's props have Super League experience.

Kingsgrove have added Tuki Jackson (North Sydney) to their list.

Cabra v Mounties in two weeks from now at New Era should be a great game, hopefully a big crowed.

What is the reason given for the Sydney Bulls move away from Bankstown to Erskinville?

The story is in Rugby League Review. The Bulldogs wanted the Bulls to sack all their players and put the Bulldogs 4th grade in their jerseys. Bulls said no but the Bulls long time sponsor was suddenly only the Bulldogs sponsor.

The Bulls were going to fold and lost 15 players from last year and then found a pub in Erskinville to take sponsorship but home games would have to be close to the pub or the deal would be off.

Bulls could not get approval to play on Erskinville so the sponsor deal will be gone and RLR expects the Bulls to pull out in the next few weeks.

The Bulldogs 4th grade now play as Bankstown Sports and lost to Mounties by 74-4 on the weekend.

It is believed the Bulls have money probs and a number of players are owed money from last year, they have been successful but when you pay players 20k a year have no supporters you will struggle and sponsors have pulled out. there were issues between the Bulls and the Dogs as well.

It is a shame but when a player gets deductions for certain failing such as non sale of tickets to functions or not wearing a shirt and not told when they were it does lead to illwill.

Not sure if its for that reason but I know a stack of former Bulls regular players have all gone to Narrabeen in Manly A Grade comp. 6 or 7 former Bulls players are now playing there, so I am assuming something has gone down that has triggered this because I dont think Narrabeen has a massive amount of money to be throwing around.

Unfortuntely blue bag you are a little off the mark.
Money problems started last year when their major sponsor Bankstown Sports cut their sponsorship by over 50%.It was cut because when baysarri was sacked as coach, his manager approached the club and told them he could run a team for half of what they gave the bulls.Hence now the new team Bankstown sports is funded. The manager is connected with the bulldogs so he did the dirty on the club because baysarri was sacked. He must feel awesome now that these kids are getting flogged every week..Secondly,i can guarantee you no player ever get 20k.Not even close.Name a player and i guarantee you it was never that much.. And last of all,for a club who has no leagues club backing them, business sponsorships and good relations kept that club going for years. If a player cannot do his share and sell tickets to help promote a self funded club or wear the correct shirt to game day,it shows his lack of commitment and lacks self discipline..And it would be great if every club had a terry rowney to pay players.

The real tragedy here is that we seem to have lost another club...Does anyone know if there is anything being done to get some sort of amalgamation to keep the competition at 8 teams and avoid having a bye? Perhaps somebody at NSWRL could contact Manly or Cronulla who might be interested in at least putting their excess 20s and NSW Cup players somewhere so that they get a game with any players left from the Bulls...Sutherland Bulls playing out of Sutherland Oval coached by Lance Thompson???

I've always been surprised that clubs in the JBC/BRC can survive without a fan base. I've gone to the Crest to see the Bulls play a couple of times and it's a pretty soul destroying adventure.

Still, it's a shame to lose a club like the Bulls who have been around for a while and been pretty successful... those bastards flogged the Jets in the '06 GF by 40 odd points.
