two starting props for Origin, and could possible have Dugan, Croker and Vidot :lol:

depending on what injuries you have at that time of year, Props may get niggling injuries from origin (more often than not they do). it may not work for you guys, but it may work in your favour.

Time will tell

I imagine RD 1 TV games will be a choice of either... what do you think.

Roosters v Souths -
Titans v Dragons - Friday night for sure
Dogs v Tigers. -

Not sure on what the Monday game would be.

Year after year it happens, maybe they really do request it (although I doubt it given the complaints from the club over the closeness of the byes this season - again we had 2 byes in 4 rounds), I'm trying my best not to be paranoid... but f**k the NRL must really hate us.

I'll reiterate:

Only team in the NRL to have byes so close together.
Only team in the NRL to not have a pre-Origin bye.

Broncos v Cowboys would be Friday Night i would imagine. Roosters v Rabbits is usally Sunday Arvo.

Dragons not having a Home Game for 4 weeks gives them extra time to bump up their Membership numbers.

I reckon GC v Dragons will be the one of the friday night games probably live into both states.

Im not sure they would do the other QLD game...

Unless they do Bris/Cows and roosters /Rabbits...broadcast live into each home state and save the Titans /drags for sunday.

Can't wait for next season! Potential for big crowds in round 1, with the Tigers at the Bulldogs and traditional roosters v souths clash.

I notice the Knights are fairly light on home games early, is that to give the new grandstand time to be complete? anyone got a date for its completion?

1st Round should get some big crowds.

50k Broncos v Cowboys
27k Titans v Dragons

With Rooosters v Rabbitohs and Tigers v Dogs both potential 30k+ crowds.

Looks like another Monday night game for Manly.

We must request them or something, that's how it works right?

No Brisbane double header this year i guess. Unless Manly moved the game to Brisbane also.. Which seems unlikely.

I think this is exactly what will happen. Manly was hoping to take the double header home game away from Canterbury next year. Looks like both clubs will get Suncorp home games now.

So the double header will be Manly vs. Brisbane & Canterbury vs. Gold Coast.

More than likely. Not the first time we've been away for the first few weeks of the season while the refurb is going on

I highly doubt that will be the case to be honest. If Manly were to move a game or two, it would be to Bluetongue.

I reckon the Double Header idea has been scrapped.

This is like the third year in a row where we don't get to play Manly at home. 2nd year in a row we don't get a home game vs the Warriors too. Do they even look at the previous years draw at all?

Berkeley Eagle, I can see where your thinking lies but the Bris/NQ is almost always Ch 9 Friday. For that reason I reckon we might see GC v Saints as MNF.

I don't think they look at previous years so much, although they do receive I think 7-10 requests per club and try to honour as many as possible. This is the first time in a few years they've actually done the draw after the Grand Final so it was a bit better thought out by the looks.
