Xenoblade Chronicles - Probably won't get any mentions in major goty awards since it didn't get released in NA, but it's by far the best JRPG in a long time.

Special mention to Football Manager 2012 - Not a real mainstream title, but addictive as hell, and pretty fun.

Sounds like Skyward Sword is going to be one of those games you either just like or completely love it.

Impressions that I'm getting...
- There is a learning curve with controls and they do require more effort than a regular controller.
- The game is slowly paced and only starts to open up until after the 3rd dungeon where they start to introduce their creative ideas
- The world is sparse
- Lots of filler

Either way aside from WWE '12 this will be the only other game I'll pick-up during the Christmas season.

only saying it as its the only game i think i bought this weekend.
Nothing really out of the ordinary from any other FIFA edition.

From what i've read, its between Skyrim and Arkham City

Biggest disappointment - Duke Nukem & MW3 (thought they might step it up a bit but it's more or less a map pack)

I really liked L.A. Noire but maybe there should be a section for interactive stories.
