Well that pair got us to the 2009 Grand Final, understandable that they got the lions share of 2010 as a combination.I knew we would go crap when our halves were consistently named as
6. Mortimer
7. Robson
What's not understandable imo is that after Anderson "rested" Mortimer from the halves in August 2010, Kearney put him straight back there to start 2011...
Me too, and credit where credit is due - to Kearney and this squad that was apparently so weak we can't expect much of them.I was actually surprised in the last 8 weeks how close we got to some of the top teams. But that also coincided with the splitting of our Grand Final halves pair.
But the change in form wasn't due to splitting the Grand Final halves pairing - it was just due to Kearney finally dumping Morts for Round 11. If we can sell Morts to the Roosters for 2012, things will b e looking even more promising for next year!
