Again you attempt to deflect the problems by claiming that they are excusable because some of the protagonists are unpaid or amateurs.
That's exactly what I'm doing. What's your point?
These guys
are amateurs. Now you want to complain about it?
I recall that part of 3P's platform was that accepting mediocrity was part of the club culture and that changing that culture was paramount to their ideals....
I think they were talking about what happens on the field - you know, the only part of the club most fans give a f**k about?
The board have done their job - they've given us a coaching staff that could get us some quality players and change the culture in the playing staff.
As for changing the culture in the boardroom, it's not the board's job to change the culture of the members -
because they represent the members.
So if the board don't give a f**k whether Eric Grothe has been a financial member for 30 months or 36 months then they represent most members just fine.
No-one cares Gronk, can't you see that? Or at least, not enough people care that there is going to be any change. The board f**ked up, it was pointed out and fixed, and everybody has moved on. The only people still crowing about it are the media desperate for a story at this time of year, the minority of opposition fans who will take any excuse to kick an opposition club while they think it's down, and the Eels 'fans' who want to see the board fail, and think this vindicates them.
The neutrals all stopped giving a f**k halfway through reading the initial article in the paper.
