Strange that the Broncos have gone out so much since November (when everyone knew we already didn't have Inglis). Especially seeing as we've won all our trials pretty convincingly.

I've got St. George rated as a clear favorite. This is the strongest figures I've produced for a team in a pre season futures market. The market has the "dangers" rated well under the true odds.

Not that they'd win it in a million years, but the knights are good value at $34 compared to some of the other teams above them.

Mullen back in a week or two. Props in their best form since god knows when. Degois stringing games together. Taia eyeing a round 22 comeback from neck surgery. They win a few games in the next month against the likes of Manly and the Cowboys, and they'll be set for a charge into the finals. Plenty of home games, and really only Mullen and Taia away from full strength (Maddog to come back, but Lulia and Wes have been in better form).

Our only two non-injury plagued seasons in recent memory are 2006 and 2009. 2006 we were top 4, and 2009 we were top 4 until the Brian smith drama started to unfold. So with a fully fit side (which will be almost identical to 2009 with a much improved Uate) we could cause some damage. However getting to the finals is the biggest test, as we are usually in the hunt around this time of year, then go on a few losing streaks only to end up needing to win all our games in the final month to scrape in.
