No, after Filiga was injured they were down to 15. Mike Cummins was declared as the 17th player to comply with the points situation but he was not at the game. Only 3 on the bench at the start.

In 2 previous games, someone had to play both Sydney Shield and Bundy on the same day because they only had 16. This time there was no Shield team to grab a player.

They should have asked a few of the 10 to stay for Bundy and avoided playing with 16, which included 3 of the regular Shield team.

i agree Roland. They warmed up with 15, one player arrived just before kick off, and one they had no contact with and didnt show.

5 or 6 of the shield players were there watching the match, surley they could of grabbed one of them to play.

Mike Cummins didn't play. Abou-Sleiman was named on the bench but started on the wing.

Also spoke to the guys at Kingsgrove, they said they will definatley be entering a Bundy Side next season, with the possibility of a Sydney Shield side.

I assumed all the Shield players must have gone home. That being the case it looks like there was an expectation that Cummins would arrive late and once the game started they would not be able to make a substitution.

Tonga was the player who did not warm up. On saturdays he plays Rugby union prior to the Bundy games but he would not have a sunday RU game.

thats correct Roland Cummins was left on the sheet in case he turned up.

I heard that last week about Holoua Tonga, im very suprised that both St Johns and his Union team allow him to play both.

I dont know if Tonga is serious about RU but if so he is with the most successful club - Sydney Uni won 6 1st grade premierships in a row, lead the comp in all 6 minor grades and have about 25 players with Super 15 contracts across 4 provincial teams.

Windsor only had a two man bench, apparently the flu hit them bad during the week, Ben Stewart hurt his back so they had 14 players for the 2nd half. They still ran in 40 points

Any of the first 4 teams can be Minor Premiers but it is still possible that any of the 6 teams can drop out of the 5.
