You may be right, Sharkie. Naturally, with players in the top sides going up/down to NSW Cup, it'll come down to the strongest fielded teams in the semis, GF etc...I still think Wenty/Windsor, though

Windsor are the only side i havent seen play a full game live. i saw the last 25 mins of their game against St Johns @ Windsor. St Johns led like 40-4 at half time so im not going to take much out of what i saw that night. They have a wealth of expierence that could get them over the line. Hutch Maiava, Shenelle Haumono, Ben Stewart and Ryan Tramonte have been around for years. They also have Craig Trindall up their sleeves.

I have seen alot of the Wenty games including the 88-10 win over Kingsgrove and the 84-0 win over Blacktown. They did look impressive but will save judgement untill they play Cabra and Mounties in rounds 16 & 17.

Entrance have the advantage of playing all their home games at the back of the season. Come finals time they will have to travel to play, this may bring them unstuck. I'm still not convinced with Cabramatta either. They were terriable at times against St Johns a few weeks ago and also against Burwood the other night.

Apparently Karl Filiga is back this week for St Johns, this is a massive boost to their side, they were also missing Roqica, Azzi, Longi, Vrahnos and Refaai against the Colts. If they get Josh Gill, Jake Finn and even Daniel Abou-Sleiman back for the finals anything is possible.

as a local boy and fan of the Kingsgrove team, it would be to see the team win just one game in their remaining few games of the year. It has been a shocker of a year for them (pretty much just like last season too).

The Colts have a hell of alot of obstacles in front of them which don't help the cause. I also hoped for a bit better showing this year, but they're mostly kids and it's a tough ask.

They have one chance in the game against Blacktown, who have conceded even more points than Kingsgrove but on occasions can score a few tries, resulting in 2 wins.

Kingsgrove have scored an average of 10 points. It is very hard to win if you rarely score a try.

If Kingsgrove dont have the dollars to recruit a Bundy side, surely the players would feel better about playing in the Sydney Shield, where instead of being wacked every week, Colts would be very competitive.

There is massive talk at the Colts that they will be entering a Sydney Shield side next season. Iv'e got to know a few of the blokes down there and i really hope they get a win before seasons end. They all deserve it.

Is that Sydney Shield instead of Bundy or a second team?

i think at the start of this season they were going to do both, but now i think they are leaning just to Sydney Shield. Will confirm when i see them on the weekend.

Also heard Blacktown are putting in a Shield side next season.

Now that it is nearing the end of the season, let's discuss who do we think has been the standout player of the competition? also who do we think has been the most consistent players week in week out?

Blacktown will have a Bundy Cup side and a Sydney Shield side next year.
If kingsgrove leave Bundy Cup will any new teams come in?
Does anyone know what teams will be in Bundy Cup and Sydney Shield in 2013?

With a bit better planning and preparation, I'm sure the Colts could have made a real fist of Bundy Cup. Will be a shame if they drop out.

Wenty 72 Blacktown 16
Windsor 40 BNRU 20

Huge effort from BNRU, who had about 8 out from their Cabra clash last week and were leading 10-4 25 in. They did for the first time this year have 2 fringe NSW Cup players drop back from BRET. No players from Wests this week, though. Truly believe they would have beat Wolves with their side from last week.

St Johns had 10 players for the sydney shield match today so they forfeited

They should have asked a few of the 10 to stay for Bundy and avoided playing with 16, which included 3 of the regular Shield team.

Mounties 38 St Johns 32
Entrance 20 Cabra 16

Wenty 23 (+389)
