2012 Grand Final "for the good of the game"

What would the ARLC pick if they could for this year as the grand final given the choice?

Perhaps Gold Coast vs one of the four Western Sydney clubs re: the AFL threat.

Or perhaps a Eels/Panthers or Dogs/Tigers showdown (or other combination) to fight the Flogball GWS mob?

Maybe in terms of the TV deal having Broncos vs either Souths or Saints?

Saints were apart of one of the lowest rating gf in the last 10 years. Sydney viewers were on par (no great increase), but the other cities were way down. Having said that, an all Sydney GF wouldn't really be the best for the game. Probably Dogs or Parra (highest rating Sydney teams), especially considering their record setting prelim crowd and ratings (still yet to be broken) and Brisbane or Melbourne.

Screw for the good of the game, for the good of my mental stability Parramatta Vs. anyone, with Parra winning.

Cowboys V Tigers. Both sides play exciting football with real crowd favourites in both teams. One of the great things that happened in the game last decade was the reception that the cowboys got from their fans for making the 2005 GF. A lot of Queenslanders and neutrals would get behind them too.

The tigers would be a boon for the proud and huge rugby league territory of the western suburbs.

Brisbane v Melbourne get more viewers than say Tigers v Dragons? Big ratings in Melbourne and Brisbane would probably make up for the drop in Sydney viewers and then some. But in regards to fumbleball GC v Paarra or Tigers would be good.

Whos cares about the AFL. People who are fickle enough to fall for that shit are welcome to f**k off and follow it.

Just the two best teams of the year for mine. It wouldn't matter who it was as long as its a good game.

LOL at Dogs V Parra. Its a great traditional clash, but neither team will be anywhere near it any time soon (unless the Dogs get Foran)

Melbourne, Manly, and Brisbane have been successful enough lately. So Sharks versus anyone else would be good. Be good to see a maiden premiership.

Melbourne V Titans. Storm because of the GF ratings, Titans to take the shine off the Suns.

This. Would be great to see another maiden premiership.

While the dragons are hateful, it was still good they got their first premiership. Even better Wests Tigers fairytale run except by Cronulla with Carney tearing it up.
