2012 Grand Final "for the good of the game"

Tigers vs St Derp, Moltzen scores a hat trick and gets the CC Medal.

You're probably right. Theres a lot of big game history and spite between them in the last half a dozen years. Won't happen though. Benji and Robbie will choke again before Timid gets that chance.

I'd take a GF appearance this year regardless of the result. f**k oath I would.

he still looks like Jimmy from South Park though...

He makes David Copperfield look like a hack. How he stayed in when your eyes swear its the opposite thats occured is freakish.

The touchy must have been watching The Magicians Code in the shed befor he went out.

He knew what B Moz was up to.

I think the formula of a Sydney team and an interstate team is best for maximising ratings.

You all saw our bandwagon, Parra v Brisbane.

Does "for the good of the game" mean "maximise ratings for one day"?

Any grand final featuring 2 gun sides under the salary cap with no primadonna f*ckwits with chips on their shoulders would be great.

If the sum of your life is to eagerly await updates on the TV ratings - Warriors vs anyone. If you want the hype and expectation of massive interest around the game from clubs fans, you cant go past what the Knights and Eels fans dished up in 01.

If you want a massive LOL - Cronulla vs Souffs. They'd be playing replays with nil all scores until next season's kickoff.

Sydney team who hasn't been there recently (Eels/Souths/Tigers/Penrith) vs Brisbane or NQ perhaps would rate highly

I'm sorry, we don't script our season, giving certain teams a guarantee of a premiership. We're not the AFL!

A fairytale run from a team that hasn't won 1 for a while (i.e this century).

e.g Raiders, Warriors, Rabbits, Eels, Cowboys, Sharks (preferred:) )

Manly v anyone. Don't really give a f*ck about anything else. Manly GFs always drum up plenty of interest though so while fans may not like seeing it, it generates plenty of talk.

I beg to differ mate. Coming down for last years GF and seeing the amount of Warriors support compared to Manly's was an eye opener. I thought the whole day lacked a little atmosphere/hype as well.

Manly still slightly outnumbered NZ supporters at the game. However, that was not my point. RL supporters in general take interest in a Manly GF because the passion they have for Manly's opponent is almost as great as it is had their own team been playing. At the game last year it was a bit different because NZ fans don't generally hate Manly (there is huge support for Manly in NZ and all Manly games are shown on Maori tv - many Warriors fans were Manly fans before 1995) and Manly fans have respect for NZ because of the history between Manly and NZ.

I'd be happy to see the Cowboys there, but only if Robert Lui is on the sideline/in jail. If he's on the field, nope.
