THE IMPROVERS:

Parra - bought points scoring ability, also playing to a full salary cap. Should improve by about 6 wins

Easts - Will have sorted out the Carney rubbish - improve by about 3 wins

Penrith - Stablity and control at the top. - improve by about 3 wins

Canberra - Halves and injuries. Improve by about 1 win.

Titans - as long as they find some spark in the halves. Improve by about 4 wins

THE LOSERS

Brisbane - Dad's army look up front suddenly happens. About 2 losses more

Souths - Just like the seasons where they found Chris Sandow, Willie Peters, Craig Wing, Craig Field - they will again rely on whatever "lucky" nuffy they will pluck out of park footy at Matraville to steer the side. Sandow has been their soul this year - About 4 more losses.

Melbourne - because they cannot stay up that high legally - about 3 losses

New Zealand - Brian McLennan is a great rep coach - fire them up with stories of nasty Aussies stealing their ewes - but over a season......nup. About 4 more losses

ABOUT THE SAME: The rest. Tempted to say Saints will drop, but they are doing that already. Knights wont improve much - Bennett has lost the mojo.

Wouldn't surprise to see Manly win the 2012 Grand Final, although I hate to admit it.

Feel they may fall a little short this year but another year with those halves I think they are not far away. They have just about the perfect spine as well.

Manly v Tigers/Knights/Eels.

I think the Eels can improve a lot, a few key attacking players like Sandow and Tonga will add a lot. I think they can't beat Manly in the big game though. The others can.

 What the hell are you basing that on? The last few weeks at Saints? Sides cant stay at the top forever in the current game, especially a side like Saints who've just gone through a horrendous Origin period. Until the last few rounds the Dragons have been the benchmark of the competition. They're going through a poor patch, all sides do. Bennett's record and what he's done to that Dragon's club speaks for itself. You're a very hard marker.

Bennett might not have the same success at Newcastle, but I have no fears that he's lost his "mojo". Coaches don't lose what make them great in the space of a few rounds of football. Jeez...

Oh hell, why not?

1- Manly (with their halves pairing another year more experienced)
2- Storm (unless Cam Smith has a prolongued injury)
3- Warriors (same as Manly, Nathan Friend and a very good crop in the U20's)
4- Tigers (but you never know with that bunch)
5- Cowboys (seems they sorted themselves)
6- Broncos (Lockyer will be missed)
7- Raiders (with Campo back, they have the talent)
8- Titans (have bought well and will want redemption)
9- Rabbitohs (LOL@50uff$ natural habitat)
10- Knights (Don't think they have the troops just yet)
11- Dragons (the loss of Boyd, Gasnier and WB will be costly)
12- Eels (will improve, but not enough)
13- Bulldogs (Can't see them getting better)
14- Roosters (which Carney will show up this time?)
15- Panthers (with Civo gone and Gus doing the shopping...)
16- Sharks (losing Snowden and Douglas will be a major headache)

dont understand why people are placing the titans so low, they will have the stongest forward pack in the comp next year with: Luke Bailey, Matt Srama, Luke Douglas, Nate Myles, Greg Bird, Ashley Harrison, Mark Minachello, Ryan James, plus dangerous players in the backline such as Kevin Gordon, William Zillaman, Jarmal Idris, Beau Champion, Scott Prince, David Mead. and people are picking that team for the spoon?

Forwards look good, but I think Ryan James has signed with the Dragons?

Champion, Idris are ordinary and Prince has been woeful this year!
