People keep comparing Moyes to Ferguson and how Ferguson struggled in his early years. Well Ferguson didn't inherit a team that finished top of the league. MUFC was mid table when Fergie got there and so of course he got the multiple years he should have got to build them into champions.

Moyes should not be automatically entitled to 2 or 3 years like some want him to. If they can't get 4th he has to go.

Moyes will probably use the excuse of we haven't lost in 13 games or whatever.
But we shouldn't have drawn with some of the teams we did, they should have been victories.

It seems like the only thing that can guarantee he will be at United next year is Champions league success.

Undefeated streaks are meaningless if they're filled with draws. You're better off taking risks and coming away with 1 win and 1 loss instead of 2 draws.

On Fellaini, came on as sub and did what was needed of him. More than Ozil, Cazorla and Ramsey combined.

Until he settles in fully and we have worked out where he is going to be played, it is going alright at the moment.

sure it is

Number 3 had a bit of Bergkamp in it. No doubt he's a fine player. Let's see if he can go a full season without biting anyone or offending any racial groups.

Lol indeed. That post was from when we beat Arsenal. Maybe Arsenal fans should remember that happened not so long ago...

We are struggling in midfield. That is the position we need to fill, having Carrick injured was always going to create this problem. Last year he didn't get injured for a long spell and we won the league.

That is why we bought a central midfielder. As I said at the time what we need are a few more world class bodies in the middle and some backup for Carrick.

Other than that, we are re building. We have been for a while on the cheap and now we need to stop doing that and go buy top level players for top level prices.

Some big changes ahead for this team as several players need to go and be replaced.

I am still glad we didn't go out and waste money on players we don't need.

I don't know chief, a lot has happened since then, we've opened up a 12 points lead on you for example.

You can't expect us to remember every time we drop points against a midtable side.

Fellaini for 28mil isn't a waste?

Not yet. He has only been at the club 5 mins and our problems in midfield are deeper than one player. We have relied on Carrick partnered by a 40 year old Giggs, a Centre back, a non confident Cleverly or a post-retired Scholes in the last season and a bit. He is the type of player we need. He may end up not being the player we need, but time will tell on that one.

Maybe we need to go 3 in mid. That would require dropping Rvp or playing a diamond and dropping the wingers. Personally I would go with the diamond, as I like a good strike partnership and our wingers are not setting the world on fire atm.

Between him and Soldado for flop of the season at this stage.

Although Ozil did miss a penalty that one time so we may as well include him too.

Ozil missed the game at OT to... ;-)

EPL 2013/14 Man Utd entire midfield - Goals: 3, Assists: 5

EPL 2013/14 Ozil - Goals: 3, Assists: 7

yup, thus confirming what i have said. United prob is the mid.

Still good enough to beat Arsenal in a game that Ozil showed why Madrid tried to offload him all summer though. ;-)

It's not the first time that Ozil has had a quiet game and it won't be the last.

Plays have off games, it happens. Suarez looked shit against Hull the other week, doesn't mean he's not World Class.

If the highlight of your season so far is Ozil playing like shit against you than it says more about United than it does about him.
