Those first 20 mins WTF?!
No one showed up, they need a huge response against Man U next week.

I did. Not only have my predictions been spot on over the last week but so has my analysis ;-)

Even a broken clock is right twice a day, well done.

Someone on here last week said hazard was messi-esque, well that's what last nights performance reminded me of. Best player in the PL at the moment. The movement off the ball the for the first 2 goals was messi a few years back, just shredding defences. Brilliant to watch!

I'd take Suarez over any player in the prem atm.

I thought we were going to lose to Arsenal. Absolutely dismal record against them, especially at home; not one league win against them at home since March 2007!
I spent the whole week in the match lead up just shitting my pants, concluding that Arsenal were going to steal another 3 points at Anfield, in a typical gunners 2-1 or 2-0 Anfield win.

Well f*** me....

That first 20 minutes last night was something else. 4-0 and could've easily been 6. Very enjoyable.

Apparently manure was worried their US summer tour would be cut short by having to play a Europa League qualifier but they won't even have to worry about that at this rate.

True, they're currently four points behind 6th, if that continues and if either Sunderland win the Capital One Cup and/or a team outside the top 6 makes the FA Cup final they'd be out of Europe altogether.

When you consider that Chelsea/City as well as Arsenal/Liverpool have been drawn together the latter is a distinct possibility.

Vidic and Smalling were so bad. Are Jones, Evans and Ferdinand all injured? Jones and Evans should be first choice and even Ferdinand isn't as slow as Vidic is these days.

Oh so would I mate. Wouldn't swap pistolero for anyone. But on current form hazard just shades Suarez IMO.

Hmm. 1 player has scored 13 goals (with 1 brace and 1 hatr trick) and has 6 assists. The other has scored 23 goals (with 6 braces, 1 hat trick, and 1 four goal game) and has 10 assists. One has picked up a the Premier League player of the month award this season, the other was not. As such, how does Hazzard shade Suarez on "current form"?

No knock on Hazzard, he is a very good player. I just don't think 1 game puts him in front of Suarez form wise is all.

How are you labelling anyones defence bad?

That was an awful game to watch last night lol, was it something like 70-80 crosses United played in?

I just wish I had watched it to the end, turned it off after United went up 2-1

They were, not sure about Ferdinand.

Every single one of our defenders has been playing bad this year. Vidic has been a rock for us for the best part of the last decade. When even he goes to shit, you know the problem isn't the talent.

In a team with

Rooney
van Persie
Kagawa
Mata
Januzaj
Carrick

the type football being played is just woeful. It's archaic. There's no set plan or strategy other just lumping it blindly into the box over and over again, despite some of the highly skilled & technically proficient at Moyes' disposal.

Management in top level football these days is all about having a certain philosophy and a set way of playing. Moyes has neither. There's no way he's going to get the best out of world class players with the way he sets his team up.

Great to watch as a City fan though, hope they don't bloody sack him.

We've seen it before but I thought it was time for a reminder.

The mind games have taken over and Jose Mourinho is winning them. Pelligrini should know better then to bite back.

46 of them in the first half alone  Not smart to do when one of the oppositions CBs is 6'6" tall. What was worse only about 7 of them actually found their way to a Man Utd player.
