What a strange existence it must be to follow a shit team like West Ham

Getting a point off a big side makes you carry on like you've won the Champion's League

The only "point" of relevance here is the one you are desperate to avoid.

I'm guessing Jose cried up a storm this morning

Hahaha

During and after the game.

Is there a manager who cries and complains more than muppet Jose?

Everton are looking good to nab 5th, especially if Spurs lose. Only 2 points behind, with 2 games in hand.

Chelsea losing opens things up. Tottenham tonight, Chelsea next week. We get 6 points there and it's a genuine 4 horse race.

Assuming wins from the games in hand, we have 4 teams within 3 points of each other.

It'll be a brilliant run home.

4 horse race.

Key match-ups:
22/3 Chelsea-Arsenal
29/3 Arsenal-City
13/4 Liverpool-City
27/4 Liverpool-Chelsea

Everton's gonna have a bit of a spoiler's role to play too, hosting Arsenal and City.

It's actually four teams within four points

Virtual table reads Citeh on 69, Chelsea on 66, Liverpool and Arsenal on 65

Hope Everton gets ahead of Spurs without beating us.

And if we can't win I really hope Liverpool gets it.

In an ideal world Liverpool and Arsenal finish top 2. That would be the best thing for Football IMO.

When I said assuming games in hand are won, I meant by the lower ranked team. So Arsenal and Liverpool beating City and Chelsea. Point being Arsenal and Liverpool have destiny in their own hands as far as finishing ahead of City and Chelsea.

I agree with you BM. I don't know why people are saying Liverpool 'need a lot of things to go their way' to win the premier league. Right now, if we win our game in hand, and beat both City and Chelsea, we're relying on one slip up from City to be outright in front. But really, the title is way too close to call at the moment. It's absolutely silly to say 'Chelsea WILL win it, or Liverpool WILL win it'. Everyone predicted that Chelsea were going to begin one smooth cruise towards the finish line, but then look at what happened against Villa. Total capitulation. IMO it won't become absolutely clear until at least the last 2 weeks.

I think it's great for the league that halfway through March there is 4 teams with a chance of winning and as many as 11 teams in danger of relegation.

I'd say we have the advantage given our difficult matches (City, Spurs, Newcastle, Chelsea) are at Anfield.

Lovely stat: Liverpool got 3 penalties in 77 minutes last night. United has gotten 3 penalties in the last 83 years at Anfield.

Here's another: LFC has scored +3 goals in more than half of its matches this season (16/29).
