It's also more importantly highlighting the embarrassment for Arsenal that they haven't won something highly prestigious which Villa and Forest (!) have already won. Please. The EPL is a different name slapped on to essentially the same title that's existed for a long time. Otherwise Utd fans would boast about the number 13, not 20.

Point is Jets are in NSW cup, and I'm sure they would switch places with any team currently in the NRL, even the Sharks

Bitter about 5-1 and bitter about yet another failed champions league campaign. Finishing 4th means nothing except money for Arsenal. Always has and always will.

The reason there are even 4 CL places in the EPL is because clubs like Arsenal have consistently competed in the comp for nearly 2 decades, therfore pushing up the EPL coefficient.

The only reason i'd be bitter about going out of the CL is if I thought we had a chance of winning it.

Of course it does. We don't have the money to compete with the elite. We need CL money to help pay off the 600m pound stadium we built so one day we will have enough to challenge.

I know logic is a foreign concept to most on here but once you start engaging your brain a lot of this actually makes sense.

We've maintained the high coefficient of the EPL, but if Liverpool get in they could mess things up.

You've always been struggling to win it. Tyrone, I would happily prefer to win the competition five times then struggle to qualify for a few years, than just simply qualify every year, but always struggle to win a maiden CL. By the way, you struggled to make it last year; came down to the last day. If it weren't for Spurs f**ing up, you'd be out.

I will end my argument here. I quite respect Arsenal; a lot more so than the other big clubs. But Arsenal fans are in no position whatsoever to run the rule over Liverpool fans in a CL argument. Is history going to remember the 'teams who had a go'? No. Probably not even Utd fans have this right either.
