It's so stupid we are out of sync with our home/away. If that is going to happen the jersey template shouldn't be the same.

Not sure if Im right, but with Brisbane's home jumper it looks like only the front has changed and the back is basically the same (probably wrong now that I think about it).

Just seen this on facebook, 45pounds? Thats $68, a whole $92 cheaper than anything we pay for footy jerseys... Have we discovered why we pay so much yet, is it similar to the issue Apple is having with the government charging more for their products through taxes or whatever..

Anyone know??

In saying all this, I think I might have to get that away jersey at that price.. Great jersey design..

Anyone who pays $2 & is happy with it must like brown water directly from the Thames. It would be a shyte coffee for $2 & come in a cup that is 5cm tall. Personally I'm happy to fork over $4-5 for a good large t/a coffee. However good cups are fairly rare. In Brissy, Allens near Roma St has the goods.

Most things the Broncos have had since 2000 have looked like colour by number templates. Shame because they have a pretty good colour scheme.

Anyone who pays $2 & is happy with it must like brown water directly from the Thames. It would be a shyte coffee for $2 & come in a cup that is 5cm tall. Personally I'm happy to fork over $4-5 for a good large t/a coffee. However good cups are fairly rare. In Brissy, Allens near Roma St has the goods.

A lot of this is due to the good exchange rate at the moment, when I moved to London in 2005 it was expensive comparatively. (2 quid was $5.20 then is $3 now)

In London the majority of the Coffee is from American chain stores, Costa, Nero and $tarbucks, its definitely not as good as Melbourne or even parts of Sydney, and trust me comes in buckets (the cups/glasses are huge).

I bought a QLD state of Origin jersey in 2008 for 55quid and had it delivered in 1 day (where the f**k is the pound key on Australian keyboards??) when it was $150 in Aus.

Not only are the jerseys pretty cheap when they're full price, we as in overseas residents, don't pay any VAT (think GST). So even with 10 pound postage a jersey will be at least half the price of buying one here.

1. Man I love that jersey on the right.

2. On the NSW jersey, it sucks they have to have a VB logo on it, but it's good they've gone back to a "retro/old school" style logo.

3. Saints alternative this year looks great, they integrated the sponsors well.

Souths 2013 Jersey have are now priced at $139.95 compared to $179.95 previoulsy due to supporter feedback. $140 while better than before, is still overpriced.

brisbane are up to 170 through the superstore. members get a 10% discount so can buy them from the club for 153. i remember how outrageous it was when they went from $80 up to $110. i'd say $120 would be a fair price.

The whole marking up seemed to start when clubs started doing exclusive deals with companies to make jerseys. Before SL there were multiple companies that were licenced to make all jerseys and they were generally around the $80 mark. That was pre-1997. Since then they have gone up about 100%. I don't buy any NRL gear anymore, apart from the occasional gift for others. It's a rip off and not even good quality most of the time. I buy stuff from overseas like NFL gear or Catalans gear and it's both cheaper and often better quality.

Followed the link after my post, and saw that this image is misleading, the beautiful away jersey has been ruined by have the sponsor on it.. It looks great without the sponsor, ruined with the sponsor..
