At least Souths have got rid of that coloured in v thing below the collar.

Agreed, but they should've gone a step further and just made the collar red like the retro jersey.

I really wish there were no away jerseys, just a clash jersey if its really necessary.

I much prefer Souths away jersey to their home one. I think the white looks much better than the black for the rabbit and collar. I'm not sure if the black is there for cultural reasons in terms of acknowledgement of our indigenous - and I respect that - but just on a visual basis I think the white is a lot better. And with white in the shorts also.

How many did you get made? Was there a setup cost? That would have to be incorporated into the cost per jersey.

I got 29 made up. Set up cost was included in the price. I dare say they would have a minimum quantity required in order to incorporate the set up cost into the price.

Exactly, which is why I with they hadn't become so dull over the last couple of years. The Charity Sheild, ANZAC Day match, Close the Gap and Women in League jerseys are their opportunity to experiment with modern designs and try to come up with something that makes fans think "wow, I've got to buy one of those".

Instead we've been given a Red V on charcoal, a Red V jersey with the colours inverted, a Red V on black, three or four Pink V jerseys in a row, a Red V with the legacy badge on it and a faux-indigenous design tucked out of the way where it won't interfere with the precious Red V.

i now understand why you're not a fan of the recent ones... just not daring enough...

The Dragons are already fanatical about the Red V jersey. Do we really need to see the V infiltrate the other jerseys as well?

That is one of the reasons I don't like any of the recent Charity Shield jerseys. They have just been variations on a theme. A white V on red. A red V on charcoal. This year a red V on black. I liked it better when the Dragons would come uo with something interesting for the one-off jerseys. Like these-
