Yeah there is, however the entire saying is "Blue and green should never be seen, without a colour inbetween".

So the gold outline makes it so the colours are ok together.

With the money the game has now do they really need an extra couple of hundred K $'s to deface what should be classic jerseys? I notice the EPL teams only have a main sponsor on the front and that it is. ESL is going the other way with every spare inch of jersey slapped with a ugly sponsor. Balnce needed between income and looking like a walking billboard.They should have taken the Mebourne offer for hositng SOO and then they could have done away ith sponsors on the jersey and covered any income loss.

Even if a soo game was held in melbourne every year there would still be an ugly old sponsor logo on the jerseys.

They would never use that logo and you know it.

You could write Victoria Bitter in white writing too but that's not the real world.

I was amazed when I started watching the NFL, that their jerseys don't have any advertising on them. This from the USA, the supposed home of commercialism...

I knew there was something missing from that origin jersey, the Harvey Norman/Fujifilm logo.

I wonder who's going to pick up the naming rights for next year.

Has anyone noticed, or know why that nsw has always had a state badge on each side with a 'miniturised' Harvey Norman logo, whilst qld had the one state logo and a full size (2faces) HN logo? Always thought this was wrong...

Not sure what's going on with the neck, but that logo suits the jersey and that's how it should be done, RL doesn't need to whore itself out to sponsorship logos like it once did... We are already getting whored out by the network and that's enough

It's a rep jersey, it should be something that millions strive to wear, not an advertising board.

I agree, but even the All Blacks have a major sponsor on the front of their jersey instead of the Adidas logo or a small sponsor where the NRL badge goes

The NZRU needs as much cash as it can get to keep players playing NZ. They don't have a billion dollar tv deal to support them, they share the SANZAR deal with Aus and SA.

Not 'wrong' just different, on opposite sides of the jersey as well.

I think the NSW jersey should have the Origin logo on it somewhere along with the naming rights sponsor though.
