Dear oh Dear oh dear.

The V should go all the way to the shoulder FFS.

Hahahahhaha designers should neck em selves.

How are jerseys getting worse???

Raise that Vee about a foot and you might be close to a jersey... Sponsors on the ball sack...

Them country city jersey pic posted from about 5 years ago is PERFECT, why change!!!!???!!???????,,

Yes, the NRL has gone crazy with too many jerseys!

I don't think they understand the loyalty effect on fans and prospective fans in recognizing their clubs jumper!

Their is a flow on effect that is very important to a fan's loyalty. The constant changes and numerous styles are also confusing and reduce the integrity of a clubs playing strip.

I would even go as far as: clubs should wear their main strip on most games and only when colours are similar to the opposition that the alternate strip be worn.

I s'pose that makes too much sense!

Now that the game has got more money than a whore with a velvet chuff they should employ GazF as quality control manager for jersey designs. No jersey is allowed to be made until he has ok'd the design!

i complained for years about the short cut off V, city designers heard me and decided to make the longest V possible!!!

why are there 3 kangaroo jersey? (not inc training since every team seems to have those these days)

is the "classic" one a different shade of green with a shield around the coat of arms? i think heritage looks best. dont forget there'll prob be a world cup badged version at the end of the year

Jerseys are getting worse because there has been a shift in priorities. Not longer is the design about perfecting a club brand, its now about pushing out as much merch as possible and pushing their own brand recognition.

Its so much more than the V that is wrong. Shrink the sponsor, piss off the underarm and collarbone panels and f**k off the proprietary wetsuit collar. Classic does not deserve to supply any major team if this is what they deem acceptable.

The city/country jerseys were absolutely perfect a few years back. They had the look of representative uniforms, the current ones are so far off from that standard.

The double V madness is worse than the yellow socks, which aren't too bad. The ARLC made a reasonable move in focusing on the double V in their rebrand. However, there needs to be a degree of subtlety when applying it outside of the logos. When you combine this lack of knowledge on the ARLC's part with the increasingly clueless fools at CCC, you end up with a garbled mess. This, to me, is the iconic Kangaroos look:

I counted two V's in the entire uniform. I can count 18 on the new design. Subtle.

Now that the game has got more money than a whore with a velvet chuff they should employ GazF as quality control manager for jersey designs. No jersey is allowed to be made until he has ok'd the design!

Appreciate the suggestion but the whole process would get stuck in the mud with me. I'd say I'm too much of a perfectionist and with the short turnaround needed for production, I'd be out on my arse pretty quick. 90% of the posters here could do the job well, not necessarily in designing the gear, but at least in providing feedback to improve the crap that is being shovelled out of late.

I don't mind the Country jersey. City one is terrible, might look a bit better on the players.

The ARLC has gone chevron mad.

If you take away classic's collarbone stripes and collar, the country design actually looks better with this jersey cut than in previous years, still not good but better. The logos at least sit on the V rather than above it unnecessarily.

By the looks of it the "Replica Pro" is a replica of the players' jerseys, the "Heritage" jersey is the same but with a traditional collar and the "Classic" is the cotton jersey with the sewn-on badges.

The heritage version is the better of the three in my opinion.
