Obviously in the minority here, but I reckon the England jersey is poor. Doesn't signify England at all, pretty boring. I only noticed the shutters for a cross on the close up, looks crap.

The all white look is nearly exclusively a national identity for English teams. There are also small details that add to the design which do not take over the concept of simplicity.

Tacky IN COMPARISON. The jersey certainly isn't in the same league as a lot of the other abominations of late. However, when you pair the jersey which has 6 V's on the front with the shorts and socks...

...it looks ridiculous. The double V used to be one of a few design elements for the Roos, the latest iteration shoehorns it in everywhere and makes it the sole design element. I'd call English uniform tacky if it had bright red crosses on the jersey, all logos, shorts and socks, but they've shown some restraint and I can appreciate that.

anyone know if they're releasing an Australian world cup jersey for sale? i emailed canterbury earlier this yera and they couldnt understand what i was asking. they kept sending me links to the 3 already released, i kept telling them there was a world cup and there's normally a WC badge....

you would hope so given nearly every other country has a WC jersey for sale!

the english strip is a white t shirt with some red trim. when your sponsor looks more interesting than the design there's a problem

I think the difference is that the England jersey has the red lining. Personally i would have liked to see the collar in red, but its still pretty good.

Really, though, id lie to see any NRL team that doesnt have an iconic design (hoops, the V) to go with something this simple.

It would definitely be an improvement for the Titans or the Storm. Instead of some funky design, make the colour synonymous with the team. (Is i see a plain green jersey, im thinking Raiders)

Edit: i really would like to see the Titans playing in something like this...

(Without those weird wiring lines obviously.)

If there is one manufacturer who would put out something as cartoonish as adidas for the Titans, it would be CCC.

Thats a good simple design for the Coast to adopt. The other CG jersey that was ok was the Chargers teal/purple/black/gold one (approx 96-98) with the V on the chest that was striped in 2 colours, Titans could emulate that one too

Would like to see that above GC jersey done with substituting the white for the light blue, swap the black out for navy blue and the red with sand colour they use.

Looks like the Kangaroos have ditched the chevrons in the socks at least for the world cup. Huge improvement!

Still on the shorts though:
