2013 Membership Packages

There are changes, it is a decrease of between 7% and 12% depending on you membership.
Not quite the 16% I was looking for... but it seems like they are selling packages for 11 home games (excluding the one at Mudgee?) rather than 8 Parra Stadium games. There was a bit of talk in Ricky's email about increased ticket flexibility, but it doesn't seem to have happened for next season?

I presume there will be a members email before Wednesday, by way of a reminder and explaining how long the renewal period is.

I'm not a season ticket holder but from an outsiders view it seems very fair. They could have easily left prices the same or even increased them.
The club seem to be doing everything right at the moment.

So the changes

Thornett Adult, $30 cheaper (9%)
Thornett Conc, $20 cheaper (8%)
Thornett Family, $90 cheaper (10%)

Cronin Adult, $25 cheaper (8%)
Cronin Conc, $20 cheaper (8%)
Cronin Family, $55 cheaper (8%)

Hindmarsh Adult, $20 cheaper (9%)
Hindmarsh Conc, $15 cheaper (9%)
Hindmarsh Family, $45 cheaper (8%)

Cayless Adult, $15 cheaper (7%)
Cayless Conc, $15 cheaper (10%)
Cayless Family, $45 cheaper (9%)

Sterling or Kenny Adult, $15 cheaper (9%)
Sterling or Kenny Conc, $10 cheaper (10%)
Sterling or Kenny Family, $40 cheaper (9%)

RegionEel Adult, $15 cheaper (12%)
RegionEel Conc, $10 cheaper (10%)

The decreases appear to be the same as a per game value for the ticket over 12 games, For example a Season ticket for $300 for 12 games means a $25 cost per game, and that is the amount of the discount the discount appears to be rounded up to the nearest $5 (Cronin 12 games = 24.17 per game but discount is $25). There appears to be one of two exceptions to this, (Cayless Adult is $15.83 per game but only a $15 discount, and Cayless Family is a $40 per game with a $45 discount).

Good, solid analysis.

It still won't be enough for some.

It only took 6 minutes.

So what's the go with the ticketed memberships . Does it cover entry to all home games I.e. mudgee and Anz or is it just the Parramatta stadium home games. The way it's worded sounds like only Parramatta stadium home games.

From the wording at http://www.parraeels.com.au/membership-packages#blueblood it looks to me like they are describing the memberships as including all 12 home games (ANZ and Mudgee and the mystery one)?

There are also some interesting regional variations this year:
Region Eels (100+ kms away from Parra)
Queenslander Eel
Melbourne Eel, and
Mudgee Eel (plus ANZ games)

Well done to the club for paying some attention to those supporters who are outside of Sydney. (Just need that separation between Parra stadium games and Anz Home games ticket options for the season after!)

Actually 25 mins after MITS posted the info.

(I tend to ignore most of Suity's posts these days, as opposed to actually ignoring all of Pou's through the site's Ignore feature :D.)

He asked if Suity was pre-emptively playing the man.

my biggest gripe with the regional membership is that it's only on ends behind the posts. If I'm making the effort to come to a game from a regional area i'm not going to sit behind the posts.
So that would count me out of that membership.
So Blue blood for me it is again.

Who is this he that you speak of...? I care not since I used the site's Ignore feature on him, and would recommend the experience to anyone who also wants to turn down "the troll factor" on their forum experience.

Still, though, you are happy to have in your sig my proposal that we all move on, but daily, you have trouble doing so.

I've let go. Have you?

Go back a few days, read your own posts. Tell the truthful answer.

Post a pic of a fishing line if you like.

Ah, I see you've now finally removed the quotes of mine and other's you've had in your sig Suity. Just in time for you to preach to others about similar actions.... hypocrite.

Now that you've actually now taken some action to back up your words, I might just consider doing the same. But by choosing to pass comment on whether someone has another poster on ignore or not, one could question what it means to you and whether you have moved on from anything other than just deleting your embarrassing signature?

(And who has the time or inclination to go back and re-read their own posts? It's just an internet forum ffs!)

If it's only "just an internet forum", why do you feel the need to always have the last word?
Let's see if you can?

You're only interested in making a show of having people on ignore. You care far too much about having the last word to actually use the ignore feature.

Otherwise you would have used it long ago.

lol.

You tried. But Bart has me on ignore. Go figure.
I nev er said I have you on ignore. How could you confuse yourself with Poupou :sarcasm:

lol, an internet dare? There is no such thing as "a last word", that's why threads don't stop at midnight - the conversations continue.

Why do you even care about what "a last word" is, and use it to colour your perception of others? Seems a tad "combative" to me... something which an internet forum need never be. I switch off as soon as I've logged out, and don't bother trying to remember posts from threads long ago, nor keep score of imaginary and unnecessary rivalries. Let's see if you can? :sarcasm:
