I have a feeling it is the same price I'll still be signing up but might wait until they do the follow up call and give them a bit of a hassle.

Why? If you don't like the price for what you are getting dont buy it.
If you are okay with the price, pay it and why then hassle the poor membership staff who are simply doing their job?

Also, I have to mention that in my calculations on the cost of membership vs the value, I always say that members get an X% of a discount based on walk up tickets to game, even this year Cronin members are getting a 43% discount.

However when I do these calculations I don't factor in the retail for the Blue Blood Membership, or even if you don't get that I don't factor in the cost of being a member which is included. All of which can add 1 or 3 games value to your season ticket.

With a full $75 added to the value, you would have to miss a minimum of more than 5 home games a year to be getting a better deal purchasing tickets at the gate and just being a blue blood member.

So even if you don't go to ANZ at all, and you miss out on every Monday night at Parramatta and Friday night at Parra (1 so far) you would still need to miss 2 games to be doing worse off for value.

I think that says more about the over-pricing of Blue Blood memberships MITS. Really a non ticketed membership is just a donation to the club and the privelage of being called a member.

Even if I reduce it to $25 which was the last price we had for membership to the FC and is what is taken out of our Season Tickets to pay for membership it is still more than 4 games (without the bonus game at ANZ Stadium) which is a large part of the season.

you also fail to take into account the 2 for 1 type deals which are offered for walkups throughout the season, or people who have junior passes etc.

And a favourite of mine for ANZ games is the value that can be achieved through RAS membership.

I wish ANZ Stadium would pull the RAS Members thing. You bastard think you own the gold members lounge!!!!!

Tempted to take the Hayne Membership option of pay by the month. $40 odd per month isn't bad when you add in the BBQ and Jersey even if I won't get to heaps of games. Wonder if it includes Mudgee?

No, Mudgee is a $30 extra. But over 12 months that is like 2.50 a month.

if only you would reserve my seat for me :p

they did pull the AFL concession last year.

Yeah AFL became a reserved section event. Meaning it was free but we had to book tickets for what section we wanted to be in (Level 1 or Level 4).

As for reserving the seats, mate I have seen some dodgy shit up on level 4, some people throw jackets off seats while people are in the brassiere.

But my favorite is Members (RAS or Golds) walking into 433 a few minutes before kickoff trying to get a seat because "they are members" When 433, 434 and most of 435 are already taken.

Well yea it's less about hassling someone personally than it is giving feedback to the club

This happened to me last year, and it was processed by the membership department. But I would still ring and make sure of it, as I did.
