Those are the tactics you deploy when you're forced to play your third choice 37 year old striker and only need a point from the game. More often then not he gets it right.

He does it all the time though.
He did it against PSG and got beat. He did at Madrid and got fired for it.

He did it last time he was in charge of you lot and got fired for playing boring football.

Next year, united will be up there, city will be better, chelsea will get knocked out by a mid ranking euro team and suddenly this type of football won't look so attractive and he will be gone again.

Don't get me wrong, he is very good at what he does. Its just very boring.

I'm sure you don't care at the moment though! :D

There are a few examples at Porto, Chelsea and Inter where he got it right but you're right it's all irrelevant to me at the moment. I'll worry about it next season if it happens. Been too long between drinks, but the title could be ours within 10 days.

Definite dive. There was contact but only because the united player put his leg out to make contact. Good refereeing

Useless United. The League is over.

We just need to finish 2nd or 3rd to avoid those 2 awful CL qualification games that keep getting in the way for us.

We've qualified for next years CL after the win last night.

That would cause an open top bus down Highbury (or Emirates) way wouldn't it?

The only difference in the teams was Hazard scored his chance, Falcao hit the post.

That and United played football, away against the team top of the league, Jose played 4 centre backs at home to counter Fellaini and Ashley Young.

That is right, Fellaini and Ashley f*cking Young. :lol:

We are coming next year.

Herrera played it well, but not a penalty. Herrera leaves his leg in an unnatural position so he makes contact with the defender.

Kind of reminded me of the penalty given in the WSW Adelaide game over the weekend. There was contact but only because the attacker went looking for it.

If Herrera just does that then fair enough, but Cahill sticks a leg out, so it is a pen.

Jesus man, it only caught Herrera because he made himself get caught. I don't know if you're aware, but knowledge of the rules is part of football knowledge, and you've never been impressive with that. I'll let someone else who's not a confused, self-anointed know-it-all allocate credentials thanks.

Hasn't the rule changed, where if we're to qualify, we have to win it? Thought I read it somewhere but could be wrong.
