Someone who knows the man well thinks our signing of Welbeck is a good thing. He could be as good as Sturridge with regular 1st team oppurtunies. Big and fast, with more talented players supplying him than Liverpool has. 25 goals this season isn't impossible.

Welbeck is a top signing for arsenal. Good business done by them. If he gets that trust to be no.1 striker at AFC he will flourish & explode

The CL win was 20 years. His time with Barcelona was 15 years.

I disagree that 1 league win and then getting sacked at Bayern is "success".

They followed him on twitter after playing a game with followers called 'where's Falcao' to carry on from playing 'where's Di Maria' last week. Remember that Morgan tweeted earlier, 'When United told Falcao they're in Europe, did he realise they only meant geographically?'

Still very early days, but Chelsea have certainly been the most convincing over the first couple of rounds

Cup competitions are about to start though, so hopefully we can keep the momentum up

Yes some argue that Welbecks finishing isn't top class enough but others will say that some players need regular gametime before those instincts kick in.

I reckon he has the potential to be a 30 goal a season striker in his prime.

I don't think its possible to have a squad more imbalanced than ours. 6 defenders in the entire squad and no real defensive midfielder. Arsene has lost the plot, I can see the knives out in 2 months when we have 2-3 injuries and Arsene is using wilshere at CB.

For some reason I still think Man Utd will come 2nd. Defence not great but not as bad as many make out and probably lacking a creative midfielder.
