Might be your haircut too, Jimbo, clearly this is the rage on Merseyside.

I think I'll keep mine short

God knows what sort of vermin you'd pick up at Anfield with hair like that

Just about every Utd fan in the world proclaimed that United 'were back' after that QPR win. Now you because you like to generalise all Liverpool fans as self pitying scousers, then I should be allowed to generalise you as someone who thought United were back. Or do you just make up that I'm a self-pitying scouser to amuse yourself?

I doubt people thought we were back and were gonna win the title but it did seemed like it was a step in the right direction in terms of attacking play and formation.

But the problem is you were playing QPR. Easily the worst team in the league right now. Beating them isn't an achievement for the 15th best team, let alone a team hoping for top 4 at least.

Didn't say beating them was an achievement. I said the new formation we played and the crisp quick passing was a step in the right direction. We also still played like that for the most part of the Leicester game but unfortunately we decided we didn't need to stop them from scoring.

Things will improve when Shaw returns. Rojo gets pushed inside we don't have to fret about a fullback pairing of Evans/Smalling and Blackett. Would much rather us chase Hummels than Ronaldo if the rumours are true.

It was in his head, somehow saying a performance is good means your going to be champions.

Still scousers have gone a bit magpie like around here recently. Not worth wasting your time on them.

Definitely.

I think we need to strike a better balance between strikers and defenders.

Hummels would be useful. And defender that can play more 3 games without getting injured would be a bonus right now. :?

It would be nice to beat the scousers and Man U is successive weeks.. That would be rare..

I'll take a point though at your place :)

We have no defenders, and the way games have recently expect united to have 80% of the ball, but concede a stupid goal which will contain a slip from Downing after our centre back has just passed to him.

Said slip leads to a cross for an untracked midfielder to be unmarked in the area to score.

United then run around like madmen and not look like scoring.

Looks like our back line is gonna be Rafa-Thorpe/McNair-Rojo-Shaw. Hoping Thorpe gets the nod a CB as I feel he has earned a shot at starting.
