He can't run, can't control the ball, can't pass and misses chances.

He isn't helped by having to stand next to RvP, but he has been less than impressive.

Biggest thing with Falcao has been his control. His first touch is worse then most of the guys in my all age team. Plus he has gone from the most lethal striker in Europe to missing tap ins regularly.

Burnley player cleared

FA and press have finally seen through Boorinho's manipulation tactics.

Right decision. No one, absolutely no one- apart from Matic- thought anything of the 'tackle' before Matic's reaction. It wasn't a tackle, it was a pendulum motion from his pass, and he was just unlucky to end up studding Matic like that. You'd expect a lot better from so called 'experts' in the media, who had the luxury of time and technology to review that incident, yet still assassinate Barnes' character. I actually don't mind Jose sometimes, but he can go shove it up his arse. He's forgetting the unsportsmanlike behaviour of his own team at the end of the game.

So nobody thought anything of the tackle for the 2 seconds prior to the reaction. Good argument.

That's right, because it wasn't a tackle, let alone an unspeakable, criminal act of thuggery that everyone has tried to perpetuate.

I'm not saying he should have been banned because I really don't care, but to not even give that a card is laughable. It was dangerous where he put his leg, it was a minimum yellow.

His kick out on Ivanovic was also a yellow.

The criminal act of thugery line was actually Sky Sports' line btw.

Yellow at the absolute worst.

It may have been their line, but it's the idea that Jose has tried to plant in everyone's minds.

Even if it was a yellow, how the hell could the referee think anything of it if virtually no one else in that ground, with better view angles, didn't see anything? Not even Mourinho was protesting after it happened. Referee needs to be cut some slack there.

Agree to disagree.

No, it was Jamie Rednapp and the sky crew actually. What the 'Goals on Sunday' interview and you'll see where the reference came from and where you've probably gotten the idea that anybody from Chelsea came up with the term.

What about the linesman?

Is Sir Brendan really deluded enough to believe that Southampton should have given Lallana & Lovren a heroes welcome at St Marys? Moaning that the 2 players didn't get a mention in the programme.

Saying bullshit things to the media was one of the only things he sadly learnt from Boorinho. Needs to forget that strategy quickly.

That strategy neither helps us for impedes us though. I don't really give a shit about what he says, as long as he's not always coming off as unapproachable and snappy like Dalglish was. That doesn't help our image. Maybe BR had a point about Lovren and Lallana, but at the end of the day, it was very trivial stuff.

So far, Mourinho's media tactics haven't worked this season IMO.

The Mersey Shrimp didn't really have a point, he came across as a tosser saying that stuff after a 2-0 win. But he was playing to his crowd.

What exactly are his tactics in your opinion?

Boorinho thought it would be the same as the first stint - have the media eating out of your hand and get them to influence the FA/PL/referees.

They loved him then because broke up the monotony of Wenger v Ferguson. But now he just comes across as a dickhead peddling conspiracy theories.

You really don't have a good recollection of seasons 04/05, 05/06 and 06/07. That's painfully obvious.

He did, it was really trivial shit not worth contemplating. However, Mourinho generally comes across as a far bigger tosser than Rodgers.

Mourinho's tactics are:
-manipulating referees to go easier on Chelsea
-deflecting attention away from the team, onto himself when they
drop points
-to motivate his team through planting a siege mentality.

I guess it depends who you ask.

I don't think he really expects to influence anyone. It's never worked for a Chelsea manager in the past.
