How long before Villa give Moyes or Pulis a call?

4 goals scored this season, they don't even look like scoring again any time soon.

Why they signed Lambert to a new 4 year deal I'll never know

Don't think anyone could change our mob tbh. We have no money to spend and a bunch on hasbeens running around looking well off the pace.

I feel sorry for Benteke with the opposition knowing that our only tactic is to play the ball long to him.

I don't know if they actually made an approach to carra, from what I understand it's just a job that he said he'd like to do

Yeah I don't know of any official approach but BR should be on the phone straight away. The fact we don't had a specialist defensive coach after being rubbish for so long boggles the mind. BR can be stubborn as seen with him reverting to a formation that has never worked for him at our club so who knows what will come of it.

I think it's a bit of an ego thing. For Rodgers to get a defence coach would appear like an admission that he's got no idea how to coach defence.

F***ing hell Rodgers. I actually don't know about you anymore. Liverpool fans should expect a lot more than this when you splash over 100 million to make the squad better.

Instead of Bellerin at RB and Chambers at CB we have Chambers at RB and Monreal at CB weakening both positions.

And Campbell is dropped from the bench for Sanogo. Two awful decisions.

At least there's Liverpool to lol at.

All of a sudden Newcastle have won four games in a row, and Pardew's job is looking safer than Brenda's...

Seriously though, how has Rodgers managed to take them so far backwards? The departure of Suarez and subsequent injury to Sturridge would hurt any team, but they don't explain the extent of the drop off.

Maybe Rodgers is a f***ing fraud, I don't know...

What is clear is that he has a massive ego, and renders him to make absolutely stupid decisions. Bullshit such as laughing off the need for a defensive coach, his insanity of sticking with 1 striker, and his dumbfounding team selections in general. I wouldn't be surprised if Johnson is performing on BR. How can an England international be that shite? Never seen a more lazy, lethargic player in the red shirt.

I thought Liverpool had a plan with their 100 million unlike spurs?

If Rodgers stopped f**ing around so much we wouldn't be in such a massive funk.

The plan was to improve squad depth to cope with more competitions. Rodgers thinks its also a good idea to completely abandon what works for us. It's hard to let someone like Lallana prove his worth when you keep him on the bench.

Perhaps he just did an exceptional job last season and they overachieved in a big way?

We definitely did overachieve to get to second place. But I don't think coming 4th would have been a massive overachievement.
