That was quite entertaining to see... even if Serena was carrying an injury... you the tall, slim and fit Ana Ivanovic making short, fat Serena run around the court like a little rat  loved it. I still don't think Ana has what it takes though to go all the way... even though that's what I'd love to see.

Angelique Kerber didn't really look like she got out of 2nd gear out there today. Even though she lost, she looked like she could've done a hole lot better against someone ranked 20 odd places below her. There's always next time.

The tennis match between Ana Ivanovic and Eugenie Bouchard has been cancelled. Instead, they will have a best of three in jelly wrestling, hot oil wrestling and a classic sleep-over lingerie pillow fight.

...and the draw from hell is finally over.

If there's anything we can take from this, it's that 3 young aussies guys have come through the ranks, and hopefully go a couple of steps further next year, and also that we still have some going around in the doubles... and also at least one aussie went for a full week!

Talking tennis, I can't see either of them winning!

Good win by Stan. Such an underrated player. He's pushed Djokovic to 5 sets before...would love for him to cause an upset.

Stan has the power and skill to beat Nadal or Djokovic. His problem, which he had again last night, is that he can't put a full match together. The way he played in the first set and a half would have beaten anyone. But then he went right off the boil. He still would have been able to beat most players but against the top 6 or so players he would have lost in 4 last night

I disagree... stand would've beaten Novak last year (pretty sure it was 2013, or maybe 2012) at the AO if Novak didn't change his shoes. That's what was causing the problem

Unlucky punter put $20,000 on Serena to win yesterday (for the sake of winning $1,000 - Serena paying $1.05)

Sloan Stephens to take on Victoria Azasheika today... can't see her winning, but stranger things have happened.

Sharashagga currently leading against Czech babe Dominika Cibulková!

Maris struggling in the second set... took the first relatively comfortably (6-3) - broken in the 2nd, currently down 0-3. If she continues to play like this, she won't win - even with Serena out!
