I bought a NQ 9's one on sunday night about 2 hours after the final game. I was tossing up wether to buy one or not but took the plunge in the end. They have sold out from the looks of things. I dont intend to wear mine, maybe get it signed and framed. I know some people think 'why bother' but when you've followed these useless assclowns for 20 years, I will take what I can get!!!! It's our AMCO cup.........

Treasure that jersey. I have a 2010 premiers jersey that I wear and a signed framed jersey - two of my most prized possessions. In a way I feel sorry for Storm, Brisbane and manly fans...it's like they'll never understand how precious a title is unlike the rest of us.

I don't understand why clubs are going down the path of cammo patterns for ANZAC day jerseys. They look tacky and they have to remember, the diggers didn't wear DPCU styled uniforms back in the day they wore khaki/brown coloured unis, so using the cammo pattern is kinda irrelevant to that era of the military.


IMO perhaps wearing an early 20th century inspired designed jersey with a poppy in the centre chest position where the jersey manufacturer is displayed with the current year below the poppy. i know some teams have a sponsor there so what the clubs should do is donate the money they would have got for the game from the sponsor and donate it to Legacy and do a feel good story on it in the media (for those teams that have a sponsor there). The media awareness and so forth may be worth more to these companies than just having a small 'AFEX' or whatever the hell it is displayed.

Just a thought.

That's true about the camo. It's not very relevant as it wasn't worn in ww one ww two Korea or vietnam. Looks tacky as well

In my opinion the roosters sky blue has been the best Anzac jersey by far. Taken straight from the 1945 design which had a direct link to WW2.

Agreed. That was an excellent strip and a thoughtful nod to the era. Camo is rubbish.
