I cant believe im saying this, but...

I think im actually starting to like it. The new font has mad the text the more dominant (eye catching) element of the design.

I still think it needs a badge or a shield or something, but it is growing on me.

The rumour is still that the 2014 strip will incorporate gold into the colour scheme.

Having not had a chance to officially unveil the new jersey, realise everyone hates it, backtrack and make changes, it seems that gold is still the favourite.

That actually sounds promising.

That gold would definitely be a unique image to work off. Classy, simple and it goes well with black...

Speaking of re-branding (Panthers), Salford City Reds have branded in Superleague to be called Salford Red Devils and changed their logo from this:

Back in the day the logos were sewed patches with an actual boarder (round, oval, shield) around the logo now it's just an embroided logo without the shield and doesn't make the logo stand out anymore or give it it's wow factor

Eh... Seems to be a SL thing with the Giants and Wolves having them as well. I made this a few years back:

You'd have to assume teal would be used on the uniforms at least. Black, metallic gold and teal... they'd go from copying the Carolina Panthers to copying the Jacksonville Jaguars:

Its a difficult colour scheme to pull off.

Sorry - to clarify I didn't mean an exact copy of the 49ers colours - obviously no white, that's a little too close to the Dragons. I'm just saying that I prefer the Gold to the Yellow.

So preferably say a Red body with Gold & Black trims/detailing/lettering.

When I see Red & Yellow like with the Fumbleball GC Suns I can't help think that during the week they must work at McDonalds...

I saw a small fuzzy photo of the Warriors 2014 jersey photoshoots today, can't find it again now, but the white jersey looks identical except for the "NZ specific" NRL badge and the Vodafone logo looks like it's grown by about another 10% and might have a thicker outline around it.

If someone could remind me why we had to wait a year for the NZ NRL badge that'd be cool.

Time restraints.

Most jerseys had been designed or made with the NRL logo instead of the NRL Premiership logo which created after the current logo on the jerseys.
Next year they'll all have the one with the Provan-Summonds throat on it and NZ's will be black/white

IMO I prefer the NRL logo over the NRL Premiership logo as it's more basic
