Mates of mine bought me the new QLD origin jersey for my 30th and I've got to say that thing is just a work of art. Best jersey we've had in a long time (not that previous years have been terrible) but the design of this one is perfect. Aside from the design itself, the material itself is comfortable too.

10/10 would wear again.

That's supposed to be the other thread.

GAZF, i finally found and chacked out your page. Love your ideas. Have you ever considered throwing in and designing the likes of Redcliffe Dolphins, Brisbane Bombers and hell while your at it a NT team?

So...typically, in your form, no link to the facts and even if true, this still doesn't equate to any further funds to your club, does it? FACTS MAN, FACTS. Thanks for the update scoop !
For the sake of your 'normal supporters', the 4 of them, I hope it's true.

$100M in property snapped up at Woolooware Bay VIP Launch

Mon, Feb 03, 2014 - 2:09 PM
Sharks skipper Paul Gallen was an interested observer as he joined first homebuyers, young families, downsizers and retirees at the VIP launch of the Woolooware Bay town centre and residential community development

While Gallen has shown an interest in perhaps investing in property at some time in the future at Woolooware Bay, , however on this occasion he watch on as buyers snapped up more than $100M in property at Sydney?s newest waterfront town centre and residential community

The project, which is situated adjacent to Remondis Stadium and Sharkies Leagues Club and is to be delivered by developers, Bluestone on land owned by the Cronulla Sutherland Leagues Club, exchanged contracts on more than $100M of property (177 of 220 apartments), at its VIP launch on the weekend.

The first of its kind for the area, the project sits on a 10-hectare site on the shores of Woolooware Bay, and is to include approximately 600 apartments, a revitalised Sharks Club and a 17,700sqm retail and medical centre.

Prices range from $450,000 for a one-bedroom, from $575,000 for a two-bedroom and from $860,000 for a three-bedroom apartment.

Bluestone Managing Director Ben Fairfax said interest from the local community had been overwhelming, with 95% of sales made to local buyers, so much so that the original release ? Esplanade, a building of 91 apartments ? had been extended to include Pavilion (47 apartments) and Sea (82 apartments).

?We had a large amount of interest from the local community when the vision for the master plan was first unveiled. The enquiry has continued to grow as the project moved through its planning and approval process and our purchasers today have waited patiently for the first chance to buy.
Mr Fairfax said the level of interest grew exponentially in recent weeks.

?The sales team had taken 2000 registrations of interest, including more than 200 over Christmas, which is almost unheard of for the holiday period.

?It?s been a very pleasant surprise. Getting to this point has been a long journey and we?re just delighted to see it really coming to life now and that it?s meeting a real need in this area for a well-planned, well-designed integrated community that includes affordable apartment living,? he said.
Damian Keogh, Chairman of landowner Cronulla Sutherland Leagues Club, said the project was generating much excitement in the community.

"We are delighted with the success of the early sales, the feel good factor for the area with the development, and the volume of local buyers in the first release which we see as a great endorsement of the overall project. The Woolooware Bay Town centre will provide an enormous boost for the Club, and help underpin the future for the Sharks Group."

Registrations of interest are now open for the next apartments in the Waterfront Release facing Woolooware Bay.

Apartments throughout the project have been thoughtfully designed to maximise available space and optimise light. The floorplans are functional, comfortable and in keeping with the coastal nature of the location, interiors feature warm timber laminates, bespoke feature panels and thick reconstituted stone benchtops.

Coastal lifestyle and location is key to the Woolooware Bay charm, with this first stage just a brief walk to Foreshore Parklands, the Remondis Stadium, and the Bay Central retail centre integrating supermarkets, fresh food marketplace, medical centre, specialty stores and dining precinct.

Within the development, residents of Woolooware Bay will enjoy the use of exceptional shared facilities. In addition to the rooftop Sunset Cinema and W Club, The Deck with lagoon pool and barbecue area will provide private sanctuaries for residents with cabana-style seating and lounge furniture.

For anyone with kids, BEST N LESS have released a kids range of cotton, collared jerseys in varied hooped club colours for $25 (the Souths one is red, green and white // the Bulldogs one is blue, white and black).

They fit nicely and look good, and best of all will keep your kids warm at the footy this winter.

I've checked the Best N Less NRL website, but they haven't put them up yet, but I saw them in store today.

Pretty happy with the level of interest to be honest.
With the next stage being in a better position, with water views, I'd be confident of those units going for alot more than the $100mil that these ones did.

So WHEN the 129 more are sold, we won't be seeing a"single cent", it'll be tens of millions of $$$$$$$$$$$$.

PS
You wanted a link, now you aren't happy with what it said?
Should we delete the link Jubliesboy?

Actually, you won't see another cent for the next 129 units sold. That's what the 10 mill is for, remember?

Yes for residential income but Stage 2 will put us above that ceiling sooner than everybody thought due to demand. HOWEVER, we will see money from the retail side of the development before then. Plus that is ongoing every year! :D

Come on jubilee/anz/scg/Allianz/gong boy you're making a kchunt of yourself.... By the way have you paid the rent yet??
Another cool story bro...
Not sure about the rent, or do I care. Pretty sure the RED V generates sponsorship between $6-7m annually. All I know is we haven't had to continuously borrow from all and sundry. As long as you're happy with the $10m advance, which only leaves you in arrears of $3.5m for last year, than that's fine with me. You'll flick it up again though...only a matter of time.

I'd love to be able to but I have to pick projects based on what time i have available. Smaller appeal to less people so I wouldn't do a whole bunch of them in one go, maybe one-offs.

If I remember correctly it was the dead v who recently asked the nrl for an advance on their grant to meet some obligations. Not to mention that the leagues club who are in the red have reduced their annual grant by some 80% over the last 4 years. Such a progressive club the dragons! You just keep your head in the sand while little brother starts to outgrow you. Lol's all round at oust Doust and the old boys club.

Your post shows your complete and utter ignorance in how football clubs are run. Was to be expected really. Going broke are we ? NFI mate. This thread is supposed to be about sponsorship ....how's that working for you..this year, last year, the year before even?
