I think the Bulldogs now have a loyalty program in place (not sure for how long). Also working with a sponsor Easy Forex on a promotion at the moment. Open an account with Easy Forex and deposit the value of a Bulldogs membership and they will pay the membership for you (2015 membership if you are already a member too). Hopefully increases the membership numbers a bit

Wish they did that before I bought mine.

they're putting in roll overs at the tigs this year. so next year should see a bit of improvement i hope...

loyalty and cheaper prices for renewals is a good idea but might turn off new comers perhaps??

Hoping for a surge in Broncos memberships after 2 wins to start the season. They should be targeting 30,000.

if every club gets about 1,500 more members (which will easily happen) we'l beat last years target.

i think if there is a 15% growth from last year that will be a reasonable outcome. so the target is around 260,000 (3,700 more members each club) which is easily achievable as well.

so if we get 260,000k, looking back, and looking at the target dave smith set (400,000k members by 2017).. my targets would be:

2009 total 113,667
2010 total 142,849 (26% growth on 2009)
2011 total 180,181 (26% growth on 2010)
2012 total 204,361 (13% growth on 2011)
2013 total 229,124 (12% growth on 2012)
2014 target 260,000 (13% growth on 2013)
2015 target 306,000 (18% growth on 2014)
2016 target 353,000 (15% growth on 2015)
2017 target 400,000 (13% growth on 2016)

looks like it is a real possibilty, and a chance to push 450,000 if he memberships advertising and drives sorts its shit out in the next year or 2

2017 MEMBERSHIP NUMBERS? (TOTAL 400K)
Rabbitohs 40,000
Broncos 37,000
Dragons 32,000
Knights 28,000
Eels 30,000
Roosters 25,000
Bulldogs 32,000
Storm 22,000
Cowboys 25,000
Sea Eagles 20,000
Panthers 20,000
Titans 18,000
Warriors 20,000
Raiders 15,000
Sharks/perth? 18,000
Tigers/brisbane 2? 18,000

The Eels would be prime example of this. So many complaints about renewals over in the Parra thread, when in reality the easiest thing in the world to do is to renew a passionate football club member. Its almost like shooting fish in a barrel.

This is the first and last year that im going to be a ticketed member, I had to call them 6 times to chase them up for my tickets and allocation and they promised that i would get my packs before Christmas so i could give them to my boys as a presents, I got it half way through Feb,

Id say the Bunnies,Dragons and Eels are the only acceptable membership numbers, the other clubs are a disgrace.

considering dragons and Eels are currently down on last years end of season result your statement doesn't hold much water.

good news. we have just surpassed 2012's end of year total of 204,361. hope that the wins for Raiders and Tigers get a few members on board.

any ideas how many memberships we sold from round 1 last year to the end of 2012?

would give a good idea to how many we end up with this year.

if its around 27k we break last year's numbers?

No surprise there down thus far, memberships are still sold throughout the year, they don't just stop once the season starts
