Absolutely disgusting officiating, apparently they ruled it inconclusive.

Then Paul doesn't touch Westbrook, gets called for the foul which gives them the lead.

And the final insult, Perkins fouls Paul on the last drive of the game, no call and the NBA get the result they wanted.

Can't have the MVP go out in the second round now, can we?

Ask Lebeon that question... It happened to him in Cleveland.

I don't even think Dirk made it out of the first round when he was MVP

To be fair to you skeepe... I do think there are some pretty compelling conspiracy theories there though.

But I don't think the MVP argument is one of those theories...

I'm thinking more around the league wanting to get rid of the clippers ASAP so they can take some of the steam off the Donald Sterling situation.

Blame the officials all you like, but the Clippers were up 13 with 4 mins to go and 7 with 50 seconds to go and still blew it.

Yeah it was a tough call but the clippers lost that, should never have lost that lead

Interesting... If as expected Aron Baynes and Steven Adams play in that Spurs v OKC series....

It will be the first time that 2 NZ born players have played against each other in the NBA.

Obviously only bit part players... And Baynes is really an Aussie but it's real interesting.

As they were both from quite rural areas... Rotorua and Gisbourne... Normally basketball we come from Auckland or Wellington.

I hate working during the playoffs!!!

Anyways, I just watched the Clippers/Thunder game and man what an ending, yeah there were controversial calls but the Clippers really blew that and i guess that's karma for all of Pauls flopping over the years.
lol tell me about it..I started working about a week or 2 before the playoffs..got to watch games almost everyday this season till then

Anyways..bring on the Thunder!

Looks like Adams will be seeing more time now, Ibaka ruled out for the rest of the season with a calf injury.

Lol... yeah that's no good for Adams.

He's had a great rookie season... But he's gonna get absolutely taken to school by Duncan.

San Antonio are specials now... Unless Parker pulls up lame... Then it swings the other way...

Although I've always been a big fan of Patty Mills.

Yeah Durant on his own could carry them to a win, but the Spurs are looking too slick lately. You would have to be backing a Heat Spurs rematch now. Love for the Heat to three-peat but not confident against SA.

Very good performance by the Pacers in game one, strong and dominant from start to finish. Miami will come out different in game two but this is a good start for the pacers.

Miami will beat San Antonio in the finals.

The Heat could be over after this season. They'll leave it all on the court.

The heat will need to improve their long range shooting. It was poor again, despite the win. Offensive boards are lacking too

As long as the bird man gets plenty of minutes

Burning that I didn't get to watch the first 2 games

Is Ibaka out the main difference/reason for it?

Also: With tonight's victory, Tim, Tony & Manu now lead the NBA for most playoff wins by a trio at 111 victories

Good stuff
