anyone want to have a guess when Philly will have their first win of the season?

they managed to string together 18 wins last season, and you would like to think with Nerlen and Okafor this year, could they could string a few more but with 0-7 so far its not looking good.

0-17 before their first win of the season, any takers for 0-18 which would be a franchise record. Best chance of a win will be against LA which is game 19 on 1st Dec.

Nice call on the Phily v Lakers game Aragorn...30 internet points heading your way.

Curry is so ridiculous. 40pts on 18 shots and only 4 FTs. He is the best player in the league now.

Well done GS - 24 straight wins this season and counting.

On the other hand, Philly 1 from 24. Talk about destroying brand value. Well done Hinkie - you've done a great job tearing down any form of intangible value this club once had. Lets all hope for the sake of Ben Simmons career, he's not wasted here on draft night. I dont care if they have Embidd, Noel, Okafor - infrastructurally, they're f**ked and the potential of these players will never be reached.

A core of Embiid, Noel, Okafor & Simmons is actually horrible, they're all PF/C's in an ideal world, and none of them can shoot from outside 10 feet!

I really hope for Simmons sake he goes to the Lakers, Celtics or Pelicans.

What an anti-climax. Lose to Milwaukee of all teams. A bottom cellar dweller. Bugger, I was really hoping they could have held their shit together undefeated until they met Lebron on Christmas. That would have been epic. Still 24-1 aint bad at all.

Yeah, an undefeated team going against the king would have been awesome..Still going to be an awesome matchup regardless.

I want one of those "24-1" shirts fans wore at the Bucks game yesterday..

The Bucks also ended the Lakers streak at 33 in 1972.

Yeah, well the Bucks were probably a really good team in 72.

The Bucks in 2015 are shithouse.

Philly 1-24
GS 24-1

Pick your t-shirt !?

Detroit/Chicago going to 4OT. Pau/Butler/Rose combing for 100+ points. Detroit with 3 starters fouling out...

Im sick to death of this talk about eliminating the deliberate foul to protect guys like DeAndre Jordan and Dwight Howard.
Here is a novel idea......LEARN HOW TO FREE THROW!!!! A two shot penalty is a fair call for a foul....no interference, just two shots at the same range everytime. Jordan and Howard need to learn how to free throw like most players in the NBA. Once they put a few away, people will think twice before hacking them. It would also jack up their salaries like crazy.
To me, the free throw is probably the easiest thing to learn and practice. I just don't understand why they don't put the work in to get better.

Tell me about it. I can't understand why alot of guys who can make it to the NBA can't shoot a free throw at a decent clip. I heard somewhere that Dwight was a pretty good FT shooter in the gym just can't transfer it to the real thing

you have to admit, neither Dwight nor DJ come across as the most intellectual human beings in the NBA....and I don't know what the Mavs were thinking offering DJ a franchise role when the guy cant even shot FT's... absolute liability in clutch games.

Jeez the Warriors are lost without Curry. Draymond and Klay have not stepped up at all..

Klay can get hot (and has a good knack of doing it on the few occasions when Curry isn't) but I think it has got to the point where he is a bit overrated now. Didn't really do much in the finals and still looks like he struggles creatively on offense to me.

To me Draymond is a much more complete player and the second best on that team now.

Will be interesting how they do today without Curry again.

D'Angelo Russell has just arrived...

Beautiful watching this guy bring the Lakers back after being down 27 in the third...

Spurs are recording a historic season...Beating teams by 14 on average. I was one who thought they'd finally fall off the wagon after years of dominance. The LMA signing and Kawhi's rise has really given them a new lease.

Can't wait for the Spurs/Warriors matchup in a couple of weeks...
